Description:
Attack on the satellite station

🔱

Jesus sat at the side when Rick did his talk. Almost the whole community was there, Alexandria had a lot of people.

The discussion in the church seats went on for about 15 minutes. Mostly between Morgan and Rick.
Actually, Paul agreed with Morgan. He didn't like to kill people, he only did it when it was really necessary.
But Paul knew Rick was right, it had to be done. Negan and the saviors had to be stopped, that point was proved when they tried to kill Gregory.
They had to be stopped before it escelated even more.

So Paul didn't say anything, and just let the discussion flow through his head.

🔱

Later that night, a plan was made.
It was simple, it was clever, but risky, really risky.

Tomorrow morning they would leave for the attack, plan things and make everything ready.
Paul was given a bed in one of the empty houses. Andy, who got his hand broken by Daryl, slept in the same house on the couch. As good as he was, Paul wanted Andy to switch with him so he would sleep in the comfortable bed. But Andy refused and used as argument that Paul had did an amazing job for the Hilltop.

The scout couldn't sleep. The darkness was too dark and the silence was way too silent. Thoughts stayed roaming his head, coming over and over again on the topic Alex.

How he hated this.
He knew Alex liked him, and he liked Alex. But what was the whole point of their 'relationship'. Nothing, Paul didn't saw a real partner in him.
He had to stop this with Alex, really quick.

🔱

It was really early when they got in their cars and went driving. The sun had just came up and people were still yawning when they got out of their vehicles on the planned location.

Everyone went off with their own jobs in mind to succeed with this plan. Paul stayed behind to talk with some of the Alexandria residence, to get to now the new community a little better.

Most of them were actually really open, Carol and Tara were nice to talk to. Maggie already treated him like he was one of them. He enjoyed it.
It only concerned him a bit two of the new group gave him a cold shoulder. That Rosita girl and the not so suprisingly Daryl Dixon.
Jesus really didn't know what he had to do with that guy.

He seemed interesting, really interesting, but so mysterious, he couldn't even guess the age of the man.

So Paul just decided to have a talk with him. "Hi, you remember me?" He asked really cheerfull as he walked up to Daryl who sat on the hood of a car.

"Hm?" He got as only response.

Paul opened his mouth but the words ran away from his brain. Such a simple but plain reaction he didn't expected. What could he say now?
He just watched the man a bit and noticed the shoe laces around his ankles.
"Cool, those laces." He pointed at the big man his legs.

"What exactly do you want?" The redneck squized his eyes in annoyment.

"Just making a little conversation, that's all." Paul tried to smile, but that smile faded away when he saw the dirty glare on Daryl's face. "Well, I better keep going."

"Yeah, I think you should do that."

🔱

"What do we got?" Rick said as a start. People had come back with 3 severed walker heads as option, Rosita had cleaned them up for inspection.
