Description:
Sasha and Maggie arrive at Hilltop

🔱

A week had passed and Paul still hadn't found the courage to tell Alex.

Paul was just quietly reading in his trailer when some yelling was heard outside. He heard his nickname a few times, quick footsteps and then a rapidly knocking on his door.

"What is it?" He had jumped up from the couch immediately and crashed open his door.

"There are some people at the gate for you, we don't know them, but they say they know you." One of the farmers Paul couldn't fully remember the name of said out of breath.

"What do you mean?" Jesus was a bit carefull with these kind of things. This could always be a trick by outsiders.

"A women with a car .. she said her name was Sa- Sa .. Sa-?" The sorghum farmer was way to excited and tired of running to talk straight.

"Sasha?"

"Exactly." The poor, panting guy said with his index finger raised.
Jesus stormed past the man. What was happening? Why were the Alexandrians here again? Did something go wrong with the Saviors after Jesus himself got home?

When Paul arrived at the scene, he feared the worst when he saw Sasha's face. "Let her in you fools!" Jesus yelled at the suspicious guards.

With a miserable look on her face, Sasha stared at Jesus. With a quick pass Paul came closer to the upset women, so they could talk privately.

"What happened? Are you alright?" Concerned as hell he placed a hand on her shoulder.

Holding back tears, she shook her head. She bit her lip before she spoke. "But I will be, in time." Then Sasha forgot her pain for a moment and remembered why she came in a hurry to the Hilltop. "We need to get her to the docter." Looking back at the car she drove to the community her faith dropped.

Immediately all alarm bells went of in Paul's head when he saw the poor girl sitting in the passenger seat. She was fast asleep, or unconscious, Paul couldn't tell correctly.
"What happened to Maggie?"

"I will explain everything to you later, let's get her to the doctor first." Sasha

🔱

"I'm so .. so sorry." Jesus sat in his trailer on his bed, Sasha beside him, looking like a mess. "How .. how could this have happened? I thought- I thought we had them all at the satillite station?"

"We thought that too, but it's bigger, way bigger." The poor girl blew her red, sore nose. "We just took out a small part of the whole 'Negan' thing."

Paul was quiet. The people he had spent the past 4 days with, were just brutally killed, traumatized and tortured. How the hell .. how the hell could this happen. Paul's mind couldn't process the things he just heard.

And Maggie, she had to be okay. She was going to be okay. Dr. Carson just confirmed that. But Jesus believed that anything bad could happen now, after what just happened a few hours ago.

"You .. you want to eat anything?" With a still confused and stunned brain, Paul got up from his bed.

"That would be nice, yeah." Sasha sat with her knees to her chest, hugging her legs. "I'll go check on Maggie for a few minutes, is that okay?"

"Sure, I will prepare some soup and bread then." Paul didn't know what time it was. Probably around 9 or 10pm. They had sat there in his trailer, talking the whole afternoon. Mostly it was Paul who comforted Sasha. She was a strong women, she just needed a friend right now. And Maggie couldn't help at the moment. Paul was there for her with pleasure, nobody should be alone in times like this.

With slow, controled steps, Sasha walked out of the trailer, closing the door softly after her. It was really cold outside for the time of year, considering at was the begin of Autumn. She pulled her coat a bit closer around her as she walked over to the medical trailer.

Sasha had turned her brain off the last hour. She couldn't mourn right now, there was plenty of time for that later. Most important right now was Maggie and the baby being okay.

Sasha was a women who cared mostly about other people, just like Paul. Maybe that was why she liked the man so much. He already was a good friend and proved he wanted to be part of the family a lot of times.
He believed in the Alexandrians, unlike other people. People like Gregory. Sasha just had met him 2 times and hated him already. He was untrustworthy and a bad, selfish leader.
The new world didn't needed dictators like that, the old one had already enough of them.

🔱

She opened her eyes very slowly and carefull.
Her lashes seemed to stick to each other and her eyelids were way to heavy to lift. But she still opened them. Green flowers welcomed her where she was.

Maggie wasn't sure what had happened or where she was. She could be dead. It felt like it. She felt quite okay for once. That realization felt weird. She felt actually okay. At least her body. Her head felt heavy and her brains hurt, like someone had crushed them with a baseball bat.

Oh God no.
She remembered what happened. Immediately she realized she wasn't dead, an ache in her back made her grit her teeth.

"Welcome back." A soft voice said.
