McKinley's POV
*Twelve months ago*
"Why'd you do it?" My dad Marcus Kane asked as they were putting me in lockup.
"Why? I'm tired of looking like a spoiled princess. I've tired of being constantly in the spotlight of being a model Ark citizen, tired of everything, tired of being your daughter,"
My father's face went white.
"McKinley-"
"Just leave," I cut him off.
He hesitated for a moment, but he turned around, typed in the code on the keypad and left. *Present Time*
"You the hundred will be sent down to Earth to see if it's habitable. These bracelets will tell us your vitals. Do not take them off. If you do, we will think you are dead. If the Earth is survivable, we will come down and pardon all of you for your crimes. Mount Weather an old military base will have all the necessary resources you need for three months," Chancellor Jaha said while on the dropship
I looked around at the people who I will be dying with.
There were two guys with dark hair, one was wearing these weird goggles. The other one was a nerd looking guy. There a girl who had long brown hair who I have never seen before, but she looks like someone who I've seen working the guard detail. Another guy who had long shaggy hair looks like he cares but doesn't show it.
Then the most shocking was Clarke Griffin who is councilwoman Abby Griffin's daughter and Chancellor Jaha's son Wells was also getting ones.
What the hell did they do? I thought.
The next thing we know the dropship was going haywire. Like going to Earth was damaging the ship, and then we hit the ground hard. People started to unbuckled and raced to the lower deck.
"Nice to see you, Kane,"
"You too, Griffin? What did you do to get you into lock up?" I questioned.
"Don't worry about it," She said going down the lower base. I followed behind her. I saw someone was about to open the hatch.
"What are you doing? The air could be toxic," Clarke said.
"If the air is toxic, then we will all die," He said turning around. This guy was handsome beyond all measures. He has slick back black hair. He was pretty tall. He definitely looked like the rebel type.
"Bellamy?" I heard a voice asked coming down the stairs. The guy looked up and smiled.
So his name is Bellamy? She ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"What are you doing here?"
"Someone had to look after you,"
"A guard's uniform?" She asked.
"I borrowed it,"
"Where's your bracelet?" Clarke asked Bellamy.
"Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a long time,"
"No one has a brother!" Someone yelled in the back.
"That's Octavia Blake,"
Octavia tried to go after that person who said it but Bellamy held her back.
"Give them something else to remember you by,"
"Like what?"
"Being the first person on the ground in over ninety years," Bellamy said pulling the lever to open the hatch.
Once the hatch was all the way down, Octavia steps outside. "We back bitches!" She yelled. Then everyone started to run off the ship and outside. I wasn't one of the ones who ran but I did walk with them. The last person off the ship was Clarke.
Clarke walked away from the group holding something in her hand and I walked the other way. "You know you are still looked at like a spoiled girl," Someone said.
I turned around and it was someone I didn't even know.
"And you are?"
"Atom,"
"Am I suppose to know who you are?"
"No, but just cause you got yourself locked up doesn't mean you are different,"
"Look here Atom, I couldn't care less about what anyone thinks of me here? Especially coming from a nobody like you,"
"He's with us," I heard someone yelled.
I turned around and there was a mob gathering around Clarke and Wells. I walked over to where they were at.
"We are trying to find out where we are," Wells said.
"We are on the ground, isn't that good enough for you?" Bellamy asked.
"We need to get going to find Mount Weather Like my father said,"
"You think you are in charge down here?" Octavia asked.
"Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather. We aren't gonna survive if we don't get the resources. We are looking at a twenty-mile hike and if we want to make it before nightfall we all need to go now," Clarke informed.
"How about you two go? Have the privilege work for something," Bellamy said.
"Yeah," People were yelling.
"You too, princess," Bellamy nodded to me.
"And you're gonna make me, how?" I asked.
"I can't," Bellamy said.
"I will go cause there is no way Clarke can do it by herself and since Wells is hurt, no way he can do it," I said.
"I'll go," The long shaggy hair boy said.
Which his name is Finn.
Clarke looked down at his bracelet and saw that he was trying to take it off.
"You take this off, the Ark will think you are dead, and they won't follow us down here in two months,"
"My bad," Finn said grabbing the goggles dude and his best friend.
"They're coming with us,"
"Me too," Octavia said.
"No you're not," Bellamy said. "You can't stop me,"

Author's note: I know this isn't exactly what happened but making it my own. Lmao.
