-3 months later-
"You called me my Queen," I said coming into the throne room and bowing.
"Yes, as it seems, Commander Lexa and Skaikru are talking about a peace treaty,"
"I thought we agreed that Skaikru would be left alone on your mission to gain control,"
"Skaikru will be left alone. You have proven to your loyalty to me. So that truce will not be broken,"
"So what do you want me to do?"
"Roan, Ontari and I are going to Polis for this meeting and I want you to come with,"
"Yes, your highness,"
"I don't know who you will see there. Do you swear that your loyalty to Azegeda will not waver when you see them?"
I nodded. "Yes,"
"Good, we are leaving in a day. Get ready," Roan said.
----
Bellamy's POV:
Its been three months since the events at Mount Weather and the last time I saw McKinley. We've looked everywhere for her and we still haven't been able to find her. I've come to the concussion either she doesn't want to be found or she's dead.
"You've called me sir?" I asked walking in Kane's office.
"Yes, we have been summoned to Polis for a peace treaty meeting. Abby, Clarke, and I are leaving today to go talk to Lexa. I need you to stay here and make sure the supply runs to Mount Weather go off without a hitch," He said.
"Yes, sir,"
Kane was putting on a brave face but I know it's killing him not knowing what happened to his daughter cause it's killing me. I walked out of the office and I walked to mess hall. I see people going through scraps to see if there is anything good about them. I see little kids running around and playing. These past three months had been hard as hell not knowing where McKinley was but we have made amazing progress with Arkadia. Oh and we changed the name of the camp to Arkadia. Jaha went crazy and got himself permanently locked up. I heard the hangar bay's doors open and saw the rover come in. Yes, we know have working vehicles. Thank you, Sinclair, Raven, and the other mechanics. We also got in touch with other stations and rescued them. The only station that we haven't heard from still is Farm.
"Hey. So the last run went good," My friend Gina said.
"That's good,"
"So I heard that Lexa was offering a peace treaty," She said.
"Yeah. I guess so. After what she did to us at Mount Weather, its only fair," I said.
"Bellamy," Raven said.
I turned around and saw her limping up to me.
"Yes?"
"How are you doing?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, just wish we knew something," I said.
"Hopefully, eventually we will," She said.
"Are we gonna go for another run after Rover one gets done charging?" I asked.
"Yep. Rover two is being taken by Clarke, Abby, Kane and a few guards to Polis," She said.
----
Clarke's POV:
"Only reason I agreed to this meeting is cause we need this peace treaty to hold," I said to Lexa once we arrived in Polis.
"I'm sorry, I abandoned you, Clarke, I truly am but if you were in my spot, would you have chosen differently?"
"I wouldn't have abandoned an already made decision," I said.
"That's where we are different,"
"Among other reasons,"
"We may have a lot of difference Clarke but we are the same. We both will do whatever it takes to protect our people,"
"Let's get this started," She said.
We walked from her room to the throne room where everyone was waiting. Every ambassador from every clan and Kane and my mother.
"We are here to talked about peace throughout all the clans and with Sky People,"
"Why should we have peace with Skaikru? They killed three hundred of our people with fire," One of the ambassadors said.
"That may be true, but they also stopped the Mountain Men who killed more of our people than they ever had," Lexa said.
"We only killed those ones because they gave us no other choice. They were attacking us. They were gonna slaughter all of us. We had no choice but to fight back," I said.
"We will respect all of your traditions and values if you respect ours. We will not kill your people if you don't kill ours," Kane said.
"Anyone who disagrees with this treaty?" Lexa asked.
No one stepped up.
"Good, Skaikru marches with us, anyone attacks them, we will attack you," Lexa said.
"That sounds fair," Someone said busting through the doors.
"Queen Nia," Lexa said.
"Commander Lexa," She said.
I noticed she has three people behind her. Two girls and one guy.
"I see you brought the Prince as well,"
"Who are these people?" I asked.
"Azgeda queen and Prince Roan. Ontari and the other-"
"McKinley," Kane said interrupting her.
She looks over at him with nothing in her eyes and then looks back at Lexa.
"McKinley? You've been with Ice Nation this entire time?"
"Yep," She said.
She said with a hard P.
"We looked there,"
"Obviously not hard enough or in the right spot," She said very coldly.
She didn't sound like McKinley. Her voice had no emotions in it at all. Her eyes had only shown rage.
"McKinley has been a great asset to Azgeda," Nia said.
"Thank you, my queen," She said.
"My queen?" Kane and I asked at the same time.
"She swore loyalty to Azgeda," Prince Roan said.
"She's showed her loyalty over and over again," Ontari said.
"What did you do Kin?" Kane asked trying to get to his daughter but Roan punched him in the stomach.
She turned and looked at him showing no emotion.
"What I had to," She said sounding like she was almost grateful.
"And that was?" I asked.
"She killed for us. Innocent," Ontari said.
"How could you?" I asked.
"You know what they call you, Clarke?"
I shook my head.
"Wanheda, Commander of death," She said. "Don't give me the 'You don't have to kill' speech cause you obviously didn't take it when you called over three hundred people, Some innocent,"
I took a step toward but Lexa stepped in front of me.
"Don't, that's not McKinley talking. This is what they do, they get inside your brain and twist your bad thoughts around," She whispered.
"McKinley, wait outside," Nia said.
She bows and walks outside.
"What did you do to her?" Lexa asked.
"We didn't do anything to her but unleashed what already was there," Nia said.
"And what was that?" Mom asked.
"A ruthless killer who isn't afraid of getting her hand red," Roan said looking directly at Kane.
"What?!" He yelled
"We tried to break her but your daughter has a very strong mindset and she is very loyal to Skaikru or well was loyal. We beat her, cut her did everything to break her but she wasn't gonna crack. So we took her to the dungeon and took her to the guy who tried to kill her for killing his father and--"
"Taylor Stephenson?" Clarke asked.
"Yes, you guys didn't kill him or even lock him away. He was out walking the woods and we snatched him and one thing leads to another and we made her kill him or well didn't make her kill him. She chooses too. From that moment she just became more and more comfortable killing. She came into the throne room covered in blood one day and she smiled," Roan said.
"You son of a bitch," Kane said.
Two guards held Kane back.
"Why are you here?" Lexa said.
"To say we don't accept the treaty,"
"So you're gonna attack us? After you brainwashed one of our own?" I asked.
"No, that was apart of McKinley's deal. She joins us and we won't attack Skaikru. We don't accept the treaty cause we don't think Lexa is worthy of being the commander. She's weak," Ontari spoke up.
"Then challenge me," Lexa said.
"Lexa no,"
"Lexa kom Trikru, I challenge you," Nia said.
"Challenge accepted. Pick your warrior,"
"Roan, Prince of Azegeda," She said. "Whose yours?"
"Me," She said.
