"You coming," Clarke said to me.
"Where?"
"We need to get close to Mountain Weather's radio. They are jamming us,"
"Alright,"
"No, her injury could get worse," Abby said.
"Wait? What injury?" Bellamy asked.
"Stabbed wound. Since Murphy pushed me and I tripped and fell on it, it's been swollen, and she told me to be careful or it'll get worse," I said.
"Mom, she knows the woods just as much as me or Bellamy," "Okay, just you need to be," "Careful, I know,"
They started to walk out of camp and I followed behind them.
"McKinley," Bellamy said. I turned around and saw that Octavia was with him.
"Yes, Bellamy?"
"I know you're not my biggest fan right now but can you please say close to me?"
"Bellamy, I can't always count on you to be there. I have to do this on my own," I said walking off.
Bellamy's POV:
"I have to do this on my own," She said catching up to Abby and Clarke.
I was so relieved when I saw Octavia run over and hugged McKinley. I knew we weren't gonna get straight back together after I explained everything but I didn't think she was gonna be cold. What happened in the prison? She told me some of it but I could tell she was hiding something.
"Bellamy, are you okay?" Octavia asked.
"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine," I lied. "Look, I know it's hard but McKinley was trapped the commander's camp for days, we don't know what happened to her. She just needs to focus on finding herself and learning how to handle herself," Octavia told me.
---
"I can't believe they let Finn come," Octavia said.
"He's the best tracker we got besides he's been cleared," I said. "Don't forget to look up. The grounders use the trees," I yelled out.
I looked at McKinley, she was a few feet in front of me talking with Clarke and Abby.
"Stay focused Bell," Octavia said.
"I am,"
"No, you're not. We need to find a way in,"
We walked a few more miles than Clarke stopped us.
"While we are walking to find the tower, I need you two to go and find a way inside," She said.
I looked up and looked at McKinley.
"Bellamy, she's forgiven you, you just need to give her time," "She's forgiven me? How do you know that?"
"McKinley!" Clarke yelled at her. She turned and walked over to us.
"Yeah?" She said holding the straps to the backpack.
"You've forgiven Bellamy right?"
"We have more important thi-"
"McKinley," She said.
Her eyes were filled with annoyance.
"He wasn't the one who kissed Raven, there isn't anything to forgive,"
"See? Now can you do what I ask?"
"What'd you ask?" McKinley asked.
"Yeah, she wants us to go and find a way in," Octavia said. "I'm going with them," McKinley said.
"No, you're not. It's gonna be dangerous. Rather, if it's Reapers, grounders or Mountain Men. Abby told you to take it easy, what if you get hit in the wound again?"
"Well let's make sure that doesn't happen," She said.
---
McKinley's POV
"Clarke said that before the bombs hit, there were building everywhere. I'm assuming some of them have access to the bunker. We need to find any ruins or anything man-made, okay?" Bellamy said.
"Hey, Blake. Kane," We heard someone say.
"Let's go right now," Some guard ordered.
"In case you forgot, we are under your command," Bellamy said.
"Don't make us do this the hard way,"
"Come on. Forty-seven of our people are trapped inside the mountain,"
"That's not what we are out here for,"
"Wrong, you are out here to find other ark stations," Bellamy said.
Octavia and I looked at the ground and saw there were thousands of bugs.
"Bell," Octavia said.
"What are they doing?" The guard asked.
"Running," Bellamy said. I looked up and saw the yellow fog.
"Acid fog," I said.
"We need cover now, deploy the tents now," Bellamy said.
Octavia and I noticed that the bugs were going somewhere, and we decided to go after them.
"McKinley, O. Get back here," I heard Bellamy yelled.
Octavia started pulling off vines.
"Bell! I found the ruins," Octavia said.
Bellamy and one of the guard pulled opened the door and pushed me and Octavia in. We all got in but for one of the guard, I think his name was Brixton. Bellamy shut the door and it was pitch black. Bellamy turned on a flashlight.
"Look, I'm sorry about your man, but we need to find an access door to the mountain,"
"Wait,"
"Sir, that fog will keep us pinned down for-"
The guard pulls out a gun and hands it to Bellamy.
"We'll split up and meet back here in fifteen,"
They went left, we went right. Bellamy handed me the flashlight as he turned the light on the gun on. We walked for a few minutes till I saw a door.
"Bellamy," I said walking towards the door.
He puts his arm around the front of my waist and pulls me back.
"You don't have a gun," He said. As soon as we reached the door, we hear groans. We took off that way.
"Stay low," Bellamy said as we crouched.
We came across one of the guard's guns, Bellamy picked it up and reloaded it, and he gives the handgun to me. Bellamy shunned the light and there was Reapers.
"Reapers," I whispered.
They noticed us and started to run at us but Bellamy got them before they reached us. Bellamy turned the light over, and we see the other reaper, Bellamy was getting ready to shoot it but Octavia stopped him.
"It's Lincoln,"
He took off after us and we ran and hid in a car.
"Do you think he can see us?"
"I don't know,"
Octavia looked like she was about to cry.
"O. Look, I'm gonna get him back," Bellamy said shutting the door.
Octavia went after him and so did I.
"Lincoln!" Octavia yelled.
He runs up to Octavia and Bellamy shocks him with a shock baton.
--
We were almost back to the dropship with an unconscious Lincoln when we were surrounded by grounders.
"Where do you think you're going with that reaper?" One of them asked.
"None of your concern," Bellamy said.
"Oh really?" He said.
They took out their weapons and charged at us. Bellamy tossed the handgun to me. Octavia took out her sword. We shot a few and Octavia cut some. When I turned to shot the last one, I froze.
"Do it, you know you want too," He said laughing.
I dropped the gun and started walking backward as he came close to me, I ended up falling. He was just about to grab me when a blade goes through his chest.
"You're welcome," Octavia said helping me up.
