I'm having difficulty finding inspiration for this. That's the reason for the delay. Apologies!

No worries though, I promise this will be completed.

There is another story I posted. Love Unmasked. Not fan fiction. If you can kindly check it out, that would be great!

"Shhh ... tama na ang salita. The important thing is magpapakasal tayo. Ikaw at ako."

Xian was staring at me as I nodded.

Before I could say anything, he closed the gap between us and had me in a tight embrace.

"Say it again," he whispered. "Say you'll marry me."

"Yes."

"I want to hear you say you'll marry me."

"I'll marry you, Xi."

Even before I finished, he had captured my lips in his. I was stunned by the kiss, and all I could do was to just go with it. His soft lips was pressed against mine, sending shivers all over me.

He pulled away slightly, and I sighed.

He smiled, knowing I was frustrated from the distance he caused. My arms were around his neck and I tried to pull away but he stopped me.

"I like you this close, Kim."

My face felt hot, and I knew I was blushing.

"Do you want a big wedding?"

The question stopped me. I was still overwhelmed by his kiss and I couldn't think straight.

"Kim?"

"What?"

"The wedding," he said, smiling as he continued to stare at me. His eyes shifting from my eyes to my lips then back again.

I licked my lips. "Kahit ano."

He laughed. "If you ask me, I'll marry you today if I can. It's just that –"

"Okay."

"What?"

"Sabi ko, okay. Magpakasal na tayo. Kahit saan," I said, not wanting to think about anything but the high I was in. I had so many questions yet I realized I didn't care about them that much anymore.

"Are you sure?" he asked, searching my eyes to see if I was really telling the truth.

"Yes," I said, raising my right hand to palm his cheek. "Hindi ako nagbibiro. Let's get married. Today."

He beamed, and my heart swelled. "I'd like that."

He then let go of me, but his eyes held me into place. I could feel his gaze as he raised his hands around his neck to unclasp the necklace. Oh my! He then removed my old engagement ring from the chain.

"I promise I will buy you a new one," he said, holding my gaze. "But I really want everyone to know you're mine. So can I put this on you?"

It felt like I stopped breathing for a few seconds. All I could do was look at him, amazed. It felt like hours that I just gazed at him, lost for words. Not until he frowned that I realized he was still waiting for my response.

"Yes, Xi." I raised my hand so he could slide the ring on my left ring finger. My hand was shaking, and I just smiled like crazy as he held it. The sparkling diamond big on my finger, reminding me I was engaged again.

Afterwards, it was all hands and lips again. This time the kiss was more passionate, hungrier. I even felt his hand grazed the side of my breast and I gasped.

We were locked in the embrace, lost in our kisses until we were out of breath.

"God, finally!' he whispered, tightening his embrace as we stared at each other.

We started to laugh. It was weird but comfortable. Like we were the old Kim and Xian, like we didn't part ways.

As we separated from each other, faces with big smiles on them, he reached for my hand. It was like he was afraid not to touch me. Thinking of it made me shiver. Kinikilig ako!

We walked towards the couch in my living room still hand in hand. There was silence around the room while we sat but I guess that was what we both needed. It was calming.

"Sigurado ka ba talaga?"

I could hear the doubt in his voice and I raised my head, held his chin in my hand so he could see my expression. "Siguradong sigurado."

The satisfaction on his face made me melt.

"But I don't think we can marry today, Kim," he said. "Perhaps tomorrow."

That was fine with me.

I nodded, leaning my head on his shoulder, breathing in his scent, loving the feel of him near me.

"I need to call my secretary first, Kim. Kailangan kong ayusin ang pagpapakasal natin."

I grinned at him, nodding as he fished out his phone from his pocket. I pushed away my problems with PAY. I pushed away the pain of our past. All that was important right now was him and me.

Everything else could wait.
