Matt's POV

As I get out of my car, I grabbed my groceries and walked my way to the front door of my house but suddenly came to halt because I have a feeling I'm being watched. Gulping, I nervously turned around and looked around. I found no one except a familiar looking car that I just can't point out who's car is it.

Curiously, I stared at the driver's window, expecting it to go away and gladly, it did. I watch the car until it made a turn to the house next to my next door neighbor, which is Gio, but I'm not sure since our houses are a little far from each other because of both the house and the lot's sizes. Not really big, just above average.

Confused, I decided to drop it and went in the house.

As I enter the house, I was greeted by my brothers but in this state of mind, confused to be more specific, I completely ignored them.

I placed the groceries on the counter and left it there. Practically 'speed walking' towards my room, as I passed the two idiots on the living room whispering to each other, and since me having good hearing whenever I'm not myself, I heard from one of them, specifically from Max, that ensures that they are talking about me. How obvious.

Not really caring about the situation there, I entered my room.

And right after the second I closed the door, not able to take it in anymore, I screamed, like a fan girl on a concert. Why?

Well first, I just hung out with Lance freaking Anderson! And no, freaking isn't his middle name. Why am I all calm about this earlier? Well, I wasn't. I was so shocked that it made me utterly speechless!

And the best part is, he accepts me for who I am! It's not like we're close friends or anything but you get the point!

I laughed particularly to myself and plopped down on my bed, replaying the time we had earlier.

I learned so much about him. He lived with his mom. His Dad was in another country, Spain I think? and Gio was his closest sibling since he moved in my school since middle school. The reason why they were in different groups of friends other than his shy is because of his best friend, Sam, and mine, which is Casey, are not really in very good terms, which I'll not think about today.

I rewinded my memory to the part where he found out you-know-what and furrowed my eyebrows at a memory that is suspicious. And then it struck me like a lightning bolt through my head.

"Well, Gio might have said it while me, Sam and Levi were in my house." Lance explained.

"Wait, how did he ended up at your house?" I asked.

"Well, we just moved in last night to our new house next to Gio's." He explained.

I widen my eyes in realization as the memory itself replayed in my head.

"Well, we just moved in last night to our new house next to Gio's."

Why didn't I notice this before!? So our houses are like, a house apart!? I so need to focus on things more!

"Matthew Levin, you are so plain stupid!" I scolded myself, a little bit louder than usual.

Wait, if his house was the one next to Gio's, then that means the car a while ago was... him!

Crap! So many things are happening right now and I can't take them all in at the same time!

After thinking all of those, I exhaled deeply and decided to get some shut eye 'cause I'm suprisingly tired all of a sudden, probably of thinking too much.
