Ok, I did not expect this at all. And thought the encounter at the hallways was bad, but sitting in lunch with him? Aw crap. It's way worse. And top of that, I am a hundred percent sure that they'll force me to sit with Lance.

Kill me now...

In the middle of Ms. Boyle's discussion, the lunch bell rang, signaling lunch break.

Well here goes nothing...

Me and Casey got out of the room and went to our lockers to switch our things.

"Any idea why Gio invited your future boyfriend and his friends? Not that I'm against it." Casey asked. I lightly punched her arm in return.

"Future boyfriend? Really?" I deadpanned.

"Well, yeah! Why wouldn't he be your boyfriend?" She remarked. I was quiet after that.

We went to the cafeteria and saw Lia waving at us and went straight to where she is.

"Did you guys get Gio's message?" Lia asked as soon as we sat on our chairs.

"Yeah, we did. And someone here... " Casey looked directly at me,"... Is excited." She finished and I sent her a murderous glare after that. Oh if looks could only kill...

"Uhmm... Excuse me? I am not excited!" I argued at Casey's statement.

"That is what an excited person will say." Nicholas commented while Dominic is holding his laugh but he failed and was soon joined by the rest. It's good to be humiliated by your friends for once in a while. It really makes you think why on earth are you ever friends with them...

"Hey, what's with all the laughter? Care to share, guys?" I heard Gio's voice at my back and when I turned, it is him.

With... Company.

"Oh! There you are!" Lia Beamed at them. 'Them' being Gio, Two people who I believe Sam and Levi are, and of course, Lance.

"Took ya' long enough." Casey stated.

"Well sorry! We got a little carried away." Gio explained.

"Ok, so now that we're all here, how about we get our lunches already?" Dominic requested, which made everyone nod in agreement, and we all stood up at the same time, then it hit us.

"Uhm... Who's gonna watch the table?" Nicholas asked to everyone. Hmm... If I stay here, then I could lessen the risk of being shoved into Lance in line considering my choice of friends. So maybe staying here would be good.

"I'll stay!" I volunteered, raising my hand like I'm in class. Wait, did I hear my voice echoed? Or is it just me? And for confirmation, I saw Gio and the others looking at me then at another figure beside me. Me being curious, I looked at the direction where they were looking, and then it hit me... Hard...

At my side is Lance with his right hand raised like mine. That probably explained voice sort of echoing.

"Okay then? It's decided!" Casey said with bright smile that I know that she is holding her laughter, and that goes the same with my so-called best friends.

"W-W-Wait! No-"

"We're gonna go now! We'll be getting your lunches so don't worry about it!" Lia bid with the hint of her containing her laughter. That- Grrr! And then they left.
