Matt's POV

"I still look for your face in the crowd, oh if you could see now. Would you stand in disgrace or take a bow? Oh if you could see me now."

I groaned as I heard my phone's alarm blaring off, playing If you could see me now by The Script, a song which relates the thing I'm about to do later, especially the chorus. Would they stand in disgrace or 'take a bow' when I come out? Not literally taking a bow. What I mean is, will they accept me or not? I winced when I suddenly remembered our plan. Guess there is no turning back now.

I got out of my bed and fixed it since I'm a good boy. After fixing my bed, I went to the bathroom, which is connected to my room and Max's, to bathe.

While I was taking a bath, I kept thinking of what happened last, especially the contact I had with Gio. I mean, what I said last night about it was true. It felt weird. I felt something not from me, but from Gio as the moment we 'closed the distance', like a... spark? Argh! I can't even call 'it' properly! What shall I call it now, huh? The k-word? Nuh-uh! I'm fine with 'close the distance'!

Not only that, but I'm also troubled with the fact that I going to do the stupid routine that Casey had us to do later, which we had practiced it last night.

We must be physically close, mostly hold hands, whenever we walk on the halls, exchange 'I Love you's with each other, and if they're not convinced, we should kiss in front of them.

So icky, right? Just thinking about it makes me wanna barf. I'm not saying Gio's ugly, in fact, his the complete opposite of it. It's just the idea of pretending it with your best friend. Good thing it's not with an enemy, even though I don't have.

Like what I said last night, and I thought coming out was easy!

Well, easier than this.

I turned the shower off and stepped out to grab my towel to dry off.

"Bro, you done?" Max's sleepy voice echoed the room as I dry off.

"Yeah, hang on." I replied as I wrapped the towel on my waist and unlocked the door leading to his and knocked, signaling I was done, and walked to the other door leading to my bedroom as Max began to enter.

I walked to my closet and opened it, finding something nice to wear for today. After searching for like ages, and for sounding and acting like a girl, I finally settled with a blue button-down shirt with dark blue sleeves, white jeans, and some red, high-cut Converse to match.

After being satisfied with my outfit, I grabbed my things and went downstairs to the Dining room.

"Good Morning!" I greeted warmly to everyone at the table, and by everyone I meant mom, dad, and Mike. No sign of Max. Probably showering like a teenage girl would do.

"Good Morning!" They all replied, well mom was the only one who looked up and smiled at me unlike the other two. Talk about rudeness.

I grabbed a plate from the table and started to fill it with delicious food. Nothing like yummy breakfast in the morning.

I sat down on one of the chairs beside my dad and started eating, moaning in it's taste.

"Stop moaning! It's annoying!" Max grimaced as he enter the room, grabbing a plate and started grabbing food as well.

"I don't see anyone complaining." I stated, "Besides, you'll do it too once that food your grabbing enters your mouth."

"Oh please, we all know mom's a great cook, so get used to it." He rolled his eyes as he said that, cutting his food to eat it. Let's see about that.
