Matt's POV

"Mom, I'm home!" I yelled as I enter the doorway.

"I'm in the kitchen!" She yelled back.

"Hi mom." I said as I enter the kitchen.

"Hello Matt." She replied, "How was your night at Lia's"

"It was fine, like the usual." I shrugged, "Except that we talked about me getting out of Narnia on Monday."

That was the truth. When we woke up, we just cleaned the place, which was not that messy, grabbed some breakfast, then we split up.

"Narnia?" She wondered, then made an 'O' shape of her mouth, realizing what I just said.

"Oh! About you coming out of school?" She guessed, "Wait, they know already?"

"Yeah." I answered, "I came out to them 2 days ago."

"And they were fine about it?" Mom ask, dumbfounded.

"Mom, if they didn't accept me, I wouldn't be at Lia's last night." I said, stating the obvious.

"See, I told you." She said, "This place is balanced. Balanced meaning that there are atheists and religious people here. But either way, they're open minded. That's why living here is great. An open minded town is a peaceful town."

I smiled, reaching to my ears. That's why I love my mom. She makes the decisions.

I walked to her direction and hugged her from behind.

"Thanks mom." I kissed her cheek, making her giggle, "You're the best."

"Of course I am, you idiot." She playfully whacked the back of my head and we both laughed.

"Anyways, don't worry about coming out of 'Narnia' in school. I doubt anyone will hate you for it. Some might be jealous of you." She joked.

"Why?" I asked.

"You came from Narnia. Everyone wants to go to Narnia you know." We laughed at her joke.

"And even if everybody in school hates you, me, your dad, your brothers, and your best friends are here for you."

"Okay mom, I'll be upstairs. I'm tired" I informed her, "Call if lunch is ready."

"Okay."

I walked upstairs to my room and changed my clothes. After changing, I plopped down on my bed. I checked my phone for new messages but found none. Sighing, I gently place my phone on my bedside table, then took a nap. I'm so tired.

----------------------------

"Bro, lunch is ready." Max called out from my bedroom door.

"Okay." I replied, yawning and stretching, then hopping out of my bed.

"And put a shirt on, will you?" Max ordered.

I looked at my shirtless figure. I didn't remember taking my shirt off. Oh well.

I smiled, and flexed some of my muscles.

"Like what you see?" I teased.

"Hell no!" He denied, covering his eyes, but I could see him still blushing.

"You're just jealous of my muscles." I remarked, smirking.

"Whatever." He said, accepting defeat, then walked away.

I rolled my eyes, then walked to my closet. I randomly grabbed a shirt then put it on, not caring what it looks like. And to my surprise, it did look good.
