.^^ Earth Dragon ^^
— Idun —
"Next up on the roster, fight #142, Idun's 17th match, against #25, Lady Reykjavik!!!"
A solid boom confused me, until it turned into a rhythm, and a giant Green Dragon stepped into the ring, with a woman on his skull.
His wings were thicker, at the muscle and bone connection point along the back, than any dragon I'd ever seen, and while his entire body, (besides small pieces of purple on his legs,) was Emerald Green, I knew he wasn't an Elder.
"And, who could forget Bjorn, the Earth Dragon, Scourge Of Russia!!!" Glass laughed evilly, and the dragon roared, nearly as loud as the two Elders before.
Bergen roared back, drowning the bigger dragon out easily, and the much, much bigger dragon looked at him, crouching to get a better look. "Ooh? An Elder... Interesting. I bear you no Ill-will, young Gold One... but my Companion and I will be winning this match. Forfeit, so I do not have to break your bones."
Bergen seethed, his scales turning blood-red, and glowing, then proceeded to absolutely lose his cool in the giant dragon's face, like a particularly vicious and deluded chihuahua in the face of a rhinoceros.
"Thou Shalt Not Make a Mockery of Bergen, known as the Golden Mountain, Companion Of Amir Pashas Al'Aziz, Third Prince of the Abbasid Caliphate, nor of the Brood Of Idunacantus Rotorstein, Heir to the Parisian Drachenjägers, First-Tier Meta-Physical Mage, and Commander of the Powers that Be! I call for your surrender, you great galumphing Cowardly Lackwit, and Declare that if your pleas and pathetic mewling please me, I SHALL SPARE YOUR PATHETIC LIFE!!!"
The green reared back a bit, and Glass interjected, as Bergen had spoken in German. "Uhmmm... Bergen, the match is non-lethal."
"Between contestants." Was his hissed retort.
Glass whistled slowly, and then nodded. "Alright, then, folks, looks like we've heated things up into a pressure cooker!!! Let's LET OFF SOME STEAM!!!"
I leapt forward at the Bell, straight for the woman Mage, who raised an eyebrow, sipping a cup of what smelled like coffee.
A force slammed into my side as I focused on her, and I growled, thankfully for my cards guarding most of that blow, as the giant retracted his massive wing.
I sent a Joker at the woman, who raised a finger, and conjured a wall of metal.
The card ripped right through it, and she gasped, then dropped the wall, revealing her coffee-stained dress, and my card gripped firmly between her hands, her bulging forearms glowing with magical Glyphs of strength.
I grinned and threw another, but this one was knocked aside by another powerful wing like a pesky fly. The joker gave him some trouble, but his response to the effort was to snake his tail around my ankle, and whip me through the air, breaking my concentration.
I growled and dropped all my cards under and around him as he swung me like a terrier with a rat, and when I got a moment to breath, I yanked them all upwards.
He snarled in surprise when he was suddenly lifted off the ground, losing his connection to the Earth, the source of his seemingly insurmountable strength.
Bergen had his shot he was looking for, and took it, *Howling* at the older, more powerful dragon, striking his face, dead-on.
The dragon slumped, unconscious, and I dropped him as he released me, gathering my cards before they got trapped under him.
