*Aubrey's POV*
"Thanks mom bye" I waved jumping out of the car.
"Ok Do you need me to pick you up again after? Remember you are babysitting all day tomorrow so don't stay out to late" Mom asked
" Its ok I can ask one of my friends to bring me home."
"Ok bye"
I began walking into the theater. I spotted the group and made my way towards them after paying for my ticket. I saw Ethan and Bianca near each other and Ethan had brought two of his friends and one of them had a pretty blond date with him.
Oh no is this what I think is going to happen. I start having a mini panic attack. The other one who I knew was named Alex was about 6'4 and had amazing hair!!! Like wow. Hmm maybe it won't go that bad.
I quicken my pace to reach them and I feel like everyone is looking at me. I subconsciously adjust my ponytail.
"Hey guys" I say waving awkwardly. They return to their conversations and I pull Bianca aside for a quick chat.
"Which movie are we watching? You wont leave me right?! Should we get popcorn? Is this like a triple date thing?" I whisper all in one breath.
"Uhh erm Kinda. I'm sorry I thought you wouldn't come if you knew" She says. I facepalm and look back at everyone. I notice that Alex is watching us. I turn back and almost facepalm again.
"Ugh what am I gonna do" I whine
"You'll be fine. Oh and you look so cute." She squealed jumping up and down.
"Uh thanks" I said. My mind was still distracted. I was no concerned about how my night would go instead of Bianca. I know selfish right. Calm down he's just one boy. It's going to go great. Haha who am I kidding. I am so awkward around boys like my social anxiety kicks in just talking to a boy.
Everyone started moving towards the movie so grab her arm started inching closer to him as we walked. We finally got seated then I saw Ethan was sitting next to me so I switched with Bianca. I looked to see who I was sitting next to...it was Alex.
"Hey" Ethan said slinging his arm over Bianca's shoulder
"Hi" Bianca gigled. I rolled my eyes at them.
"Hey" Alex mimicked Ethan slinging his arm over my shoulder. I stiffened. Not used to contact but kept playing along.
"Hi" I giggled just like Bianca. They glared at us. We shared a laugh together but I noticed his arm stayed.
"I'm Alex"
"Hi I'm Aubrey"
"Hi Aubrey. So how old are you?" He said. Why isn't the movie starting yet did we really get here that early?
"16. You?" I respond
"Same. I turn 17 in 2 months."
"Oh cool when is your birthday?" I ask curiously
"April 2" He said. I make a mental note.
"Cool-" I was cut off but the lights dimming.
