💖You are the 15 year old daughter of Harriet and Cain, you knew Cain never really cared about you like a father should but it was alright, you were close to your mum, some days the fact your dad doesn't want you, it really gets to you.
"Mum I'm going to grab a drink at the café, I'll meet you at the church" you told Harriet who was getting ready for the usual Sunday service. You pulled your purple bomber jacket on and zipped it up
"Okay, make sure your in on time" your mum informed you, you were always on time for church. You opened the front door and walked outside and made your way to the café, Cain was their, you rolled your eyes as he spoke to your half sister Debbie, despite yourself and Cain not seeing eye to eye you and Debbie got on like a house on fire, she's tried having words with him but that hadn't worked.
"Hi bob, can I get a tea to take away please, I've got to get to the church, I'm helping Mum set up for today's services" you ordered a drink listening to Cain and Debbie's conversation.
"Hello Auntie Y/N" your nephew Jack giggled when he noticed you, he bounced up to you to give you a hug.
"Hello mr, are you being a good boy for mummy?" You asked the little boy in your arms, you completely blanked Cain knowing he wasn't bothered with you. Bob gave you your tea while you paid before giving jack a hug and kiss goodbye and saying goodbye to your older sister and making your way to the church.
"Mum could you talk to dad again? Please?" You asked Harriet who agreed to, you began setting up for the usual Sunday service before taking a seat as people started pilling in and also taking their own seats, Your Mum lead the service and before you knew it, it was over. You went home so do some homework while Harriet went to speak to Cain.
"Cain do you even know what your doing to our Daughter! Your breaking her. She needs her dad in her life and your not being their for her. If you don't start being her dad now she will resent you for the rest of your life and I'm pretty sure you don't want that to happen" Harriet snapped at Cain as she stood right in front of him stopping him from working on a car.
"Harriet can't we do this later, can't you see I'm working" Cain tried to get Harriet to leave but she was trying to make him see sense.
"No Cain it can't! Your 15 year old daughter is always wondering what she's done wrong to make you hate her! You thinks you don't care. She's a strong girl but theirs so much one teenager can take. I've heard her crying herself to sleep at night asking herself why you hate her, what she's done wrong. Don't you understand what it's doing to her. All Y/N wants is to have a positive relationship with her father and that's not too much to ask. Like I've said if you don't act fast it may be too late" Harriet ended before she walked off in anger, all she wanted was what was best for her little girl. Cain got to working on a car but he couldn't stop thinking about what Harriet has said, maybe she was right he needed to sort things out with you.
"Ross take over, I've got to be somewhere" Cain put down a wrench before making his way to yours, you were sat crying in your room not aware Cain was on his way over, you had a razor blade in your hand close to hurting yourself when your bedroom door bursts open and Cain is stood their.
"Stop, what the hell do you think your doing" Cain demanded answers as you sat their confidence, how could he suddenly have a change of heart.
"What do you care! You never have" you spat back at him
"Your my daughter, of corse I care. I've only ever pushed you out so you get what's best for you" Cain explained to you but to you that wasn't an excuse you wanted more.
"Don't use that one on me. You've never loved me, you've never been proud of me. Why lie" You asked him
Curiously folding your arms"I love you, you idiot. I've never been prouder " cain admitted You were in pure shock, what had he just said, he said he loved you and you couldn't believe it.
"Then show it more, please! All I want is a relationship with you, I don't want you to keep avoiding me at all costs I want to be able to come to you if I'm having trouble at school or if me and Mum have our usual arguments about all the rubbish we argue about, please" you cried as Cain pulled you into a hug, your first ever hug with your father and you couldn't have felt happier than this moment
"I'll be a better dad, i promise" Cain smiled kissing your forhead, was this a change on him you didn't know but you could only hope it was
