Coming Home

Nathan's Pov:

Today Chloe and Carter are being discharged from the hospital.

I can't wait to be at the house with my son.

Chloe is currently changing into some sweats and I am signing the discharge papers and thankfully Carter is asleep.

After the discharge papers were signed I walked into Chloe's room.

" Babe, Are you okay?" I ask Chloe

" Yeah, I'm fine. I just want to take our son home " She tells me pecking me on the lips

" I am going to pull the car around" I tell her grabbing my car keys

I got into the elevator and rode it down to the first floor and walked outside and was bombarded by the paparazzi.

P- Why are you at the hospital?

P- Is your wife sick?

P- Are you sick?

P- Is your adopted daughter sick?

N-   My Daughter is doing just fine.

I got in my car and started it and backed out of the parking spot and drove to the pickup area.

I parked my car and took the key out of the ignition and went inside to go get Chloe and Carter.

" Babe, The Paparazzi are outside right now" I tell her

" Okay, I am going to cover Carter's carseat carrier" Chloe tells me

" Okay. I am going to get a wheelchair for you " I tell her

" Okay " She tells me

I got a wheelchair and a nurse who Volunteered to push the wheelchair while I carry Carter's carseat carrier.

We get to the designated pickup spot and as soon as we step out we are surrounded by the paparazzi taking pictures of us.

I soon found my way to my car and opened the backseat door and I put Carter's carseat in the backseat.

And then I helped Chloe out of the wheelchair and into the backseat of the car.

I leaned in to make sure that Chloe was Okay and Carter was good before I got in the car.

" Babe, relax" Chloe tells me

" You don't know how much I love you " I tell her kissing her lips and hear the paparazzi go crazy taking pictures about the kiss

After I kissed Chloe I closed the door to the backseat and went to the drivers side, Got in and drove off.

45 minutes of driving I pulled into the driveway and I helped Chloe out of the car and carried Carter's carseat inside the house.

As soon as we stepped inside we were met by Team 10 and our family who all wanted to see Carter.

" Can I see my nephew now?" Kade asks eagerly

" Yeah. Let's go into the living room and then you can see my son" I tell him

We walk into the living room and everyone sits down except for me.

I set Carter's carseat carrier on the floor and carefully get him out.

" Who wants to hold him?" I ask and everyone's hands shoot up

" We are going to start with Jake " I say and carefully transfer Carter to Jake's arms

Soon Kade is holding Carter and all Kade can can do is smile.

" Nathan, he looks just like you did as a baby" Kade tells me

I stand there smiling while looking at my son sleep.

Nick is the last one to hold Carter and a few seconds into Nick holding him Carter starts to cry and everything that Nick did to try and calm Carter down didn't work.

" Nathan, I love Carter but he is your son and he won't calm down for me " Nick tells me passing Carter back to me

I put Carter against my chest rub his back comfortingly and kiss his head

Soon I have Carter asleep in my arms. I take Carter upstairs and put him in his crib and turn on the Baby monitors and take one downstairs with me.

I walk into the living room and see Jake Vlogging.

" Nathan, Is Carter asleep?" He asks me

" Yeah he is " I tell Jake

" If you don't know. Nathan married my baby sister and adopted my niece and yesterday My sister gave birth to their first child together " Jake says to his camera

I went to sit on the couch and saw Chloe asleep.

I pick Chloe up and carry her to our room bridal style and put her under the covers and kissed her head then headed downstairs again.

I am complete. I have a beautiful wife, a beautiful daughter and my newborn son.

Life doesn't get any better than this.
