//I'm so sorry, guys! Trigger warning at the end,  just in case.//

When Oriel got up Ash was already awake and posted at the door. "Good morning, Princess, sleep well?"

Oriel nodded, running a hand through her twisted bedhead and walked into the bathroom. Images of last night came back into her mind and she blushed deeply as she got into the shower. She couldn't believe she though of her that way. She's too old for you, she told herself and she's human, there's nothing.

When Oriel got out Ash informed her that Eleanor said she'd be leaving soon, skipping breakfast. Oriel groaned, she could use a fresh drink but she could go without for a few days if she needed, not that she wanted too. She packed up and was soon walking out of the door with Ash and was joined by Eleanor and the other body guards. She made her way into the limo and was whisked away to the airplane bound for Colorado.

Throughout the flight Oriel found it hard to sleep, she was sitting right next to Eleanor, Ash behind her and she fought the urge to look back at her face. She kept trying to get rid of the images she saw last night, blinking several times as if that would help. "Are you alright, Oriel?" Ash asked, and Oriel nodded, blushing. "Fine, thank you."

The plane ride couldn't end quicker. The plane finally landed in Denver and a limo arrived to take them back to Moonview.

Oriel smiled as she noticed the familiar tiny gothic style mansion waiting for her among a forest of trees. Her home was the one her parents had always lived at since they became Queen and King and later descended the throne. She didn't mind living here alone and actually loved it. It was everything she wanted and more the only thing that bothered her was how lonely she got sometimes. A part of her was happy for her protection team. Her gaze wandered over to Ash, she wouldn't feel so alone now. She walked out after Eleanor, Ash on her heels. "Finally home."

"Welcome home, Princess." Her maid called and she smiled. "Hello, Beth, please get my bags." Oriel made her way into the living room as her maid and another servant walked out to get her luggage. Eleanor and Ash walked along with her. "So tell me about the week, Ellie."

Eleanor nodded. "The protection team will be updating the security cameras and possibly installing more, your coronation will be this upcoming weekend. A little ahead of schedule, I hope you don't mind."

Oriel shook her head, smirking. "Anything else?"

"Not that I know of as of today, your highness."

Oriel nodded and shooed her advisor away as Ash stepped up to her. "Princess we'll have the security cameras updated and installed as soon as possible. Whenever you go out a member of my team will always be with you. We work in shifts, it will usually be me as your mother has requested though. When you go out for events we will always travel with you, me at your side. A member of my team will each be posted at an entrance of the house to ensure your safety at night and around the clock. If you ever need anything, our number have been forwarded to your phone." Oriel took out her phone and looked down and as if on que she had an email containing all of their information. "Thank you, Ash." Oriel smiled softly, wondering if they ever took breaks but she imagined her mother would have given them some type of vacation time. She probably hired two teams, she thought, rolling her eyes. "You're welcome, your Highness." Oriel turned from her then and walked upstairs, thinking Ash was going to follow her but she didn't. She noticed she had walked down the hall, followed by her team and into the security room. At least she had a moment to herself and she was grateful as a text came to her phone. One of her best friends, Natalie, another vampire from school was hosting a party that night. Oriel bit her lip, hurrying into her room and closed the door before plopping onto her bed. "Nat, hey! So, what time is the party?"
