Ash

Ash sighed turning over to view the clock and groaned when it read 7am. Oriel lay asleep next to her until the alarm started going off and she cuddled into her side. She smiled and leaned in to peck her forehead and pulled back the covers to put her clothes back on. It was hard leaving Oriel after having been reunited with her in love and intimately but she'd only be gone for the day and it was important to keep Oriel safe. After fixing her pantsuit in place she grabbed her glasses from the sidetable and was about to slip them on when a hand grabbed her wrist. "Ash, you've just come back and now you're leaving me again."

Ash smiled slightly at her bedhead and leaned in to peck her lips softly. "Just the day, beautiful I have work to do, ok? I'll be back." She pulled her hand from Oriel's grasp as she released her and slipped her glasses on to her face. "Alex is watching you for the day, don't forget your ID, alright. I love you so much, my dear."

She heard Oriel sigh and she looked down to see her smiling up at her. "Ok, I'll miss you and I love you too."

Ash's heart felt like it was going to burst. She grinned and bowed. "I'll see you tonight, my queen."

She put her earpiece in before walking out of Oriel's room and closed the door as the young queen got up to get ready for school. "I'm leaving Alex, Oriel is getting ready. Make sure she has her ID, I'll be back tonight. Keep her safe."

She heard a 'yes ma'am' come through the ear in and she took it out, sliding it into her pocket. She was certain Alex would do his job well and now that they had installed in this new updated identification and security system into the school she felt even less worries about her new girlfriend but there was always a little anxiety when it came to Oriel. Oriel was so reckless and loved to do what she wanted and barely listened to Ash and always kept her on her toes. Oriel was a wild spirit she couldn't tame too easily but she knew she was slowly getting to her. She fought back a smirk as she left Oriel's tiny mansion to walk over to the car that was waiting for her. She slid inside, noticing a royal guard driving and another vampire in the passenger seat. "Hello, Agent Sollers, I'm the werewolf specialist from Moonview University, Dr. Corbet. General Danvers told you I was coming, did he not?" He reached back to offer a hand to her and she took it shaking it firmly. "He did, It's very nice to meet you, Sir."

"My pleasure."

Ash took a moment to take in his appearance, he was another young-looking vampire. She had yet to see one older than 40 years. They were always so young and beautiful. Dr. Corbet was dressed in a nice dark red button down shirt and black slacks. He had deep brown hair that was slicked black and wore blacked out sunglasses and was very pale like all vampires. His attention stayed trained on the outside as well as on his phone and Ash wondered if vampires ever thought her scent was distracting. She had an itch to ask Oriel but never did. Ash's attention turned torward the window as they were driving down the main road and out of Moonview. "Alright, so the werewolves we're looking at today are very tame in a sense. We haven't had much of a problem with them recently but only about two years back there were a few disputes I think Danvers told you, correct?"

Ash nodded as the vampire glanced back at her. "They are called the De La Reue pack and are led by a female alpha now, Serena De La Reue. We haven't checked on them in a while but that's the news going around these days. We'll learn more once we're there."

"Alright, anything I should know before we get there? Shall I leave my weapons behind?"

"Yes, please, we want them to know we aren't there to start anything. Just getting information and leaving Ms. Sollers."
