(Always wanted to see how things would play out if the roles were reversed.. with Ash a Princess and Oriel a bodyguard.. still working on chapter 4 of My Truth My Fire, ugh gonna take a bit. x.x full-time job and all)
Oriel sucked in a breath and exhaled sharply as their car finally stopped at the edge of the gravesite. The ceremony was almost over and Oriel was glad. She wanted to meet the Princess fast and get this shit over with. She hated the first meetings sometimes. Her assignments usually looked her up and down like she was the scum of the earth or something. Only there to do their bidding. She liked the job though, getting to fight and give back to her country after being in the airforce for so long. Given she didn't see much fighting... but every now and then her assignment would be in trouble and she loved taking her gun out and shooting someone. So much fun. "Alright, Oriel, here we go." Rique seemed to command her as he opened his door. She rolled her eyes at their 'leader'. "Right, here I come." Oriel stepped out of the car, taking an umbrella with her, it was raining. Of course, it was.. Oriel smoothed her black blazer down and walked along the grass following her comrades over to where the royal group was now dispersing. She noticed the Princess, only because she stood out with a servant holding an umbrella over her as she looked down at the caskets before her. She had just lost her parents to a werewolf attack or something. Oriel had heard they didn't like each other. Vampires and werewolves were sworn enemies. "Your majesty." Rique and the rest of the team bowed and Oriel followed suit. "Your highness, it's your escorts." The servant piped up, pointing to them.
Oriel lifted her head up slightly, wanting to view the fair maiden. She was dressed in a slim and short black dress that outlined her curves. A small black fur jacket clung to her shoulders. She was gorgeous with full lips, a cute slender nose, deep red eyes. Her straight blonde locks were shoulder length and she wore a small silver tiara. She was gorgeous and Oriel swallowed. "Whoa.." She whispered and suddenly all eyes were on her. Oriel bit her lip, bowing once more and when Rique straightened up, so did she. "Your highness, it's an honor to come to your aid during such trying times. I'm Rique, this is Oriel, Alex, Christian, and Damion." Rique piped up pointing to each of them. The Princess blinked back tears. She gave a slight smile. "Thank you. It's very nice to meet you. I'm Ashton, just Ash please." Oriel was turning into mush as she spoke, her voice was sultry and inviting, yet sad, obviously. Her eyes caught Oriel's and Oriel swallowed a few times before looking away. She was glad her glasses hid her eyes but she knew she could probably see through them being a vampire and all. "Oriel has been personally assigned to you but I and the others will also be on guard if she's unable." Rique went on and Oriel gave a quick smile and bowed again. "Thank you, Oriel." Ash smiled again and turned to begin walking towards a limo. Oriel looked over to the rest of her team and Rique rose a brow, motioning her to go with Ash. Oriel hurried over to follow behind her, hands clasped behind her back. She slid into the limo with her and Ash gave her some space. The car ride was silent until Ash spoke. "Don't be so quiet, dear. I don't bite.." Ash smiled, displaying her fangs and chuckled lowly. Oriel swallowed. "Um.. I'm very sorry for your loss."
"Thank you," Ash whispered, her demeanor changing slightly. Oriel's heart hammered in her chest as she sat next to Ash. She was totally hot. She could tell she worked out. She noticed the lining of her abs through her dress. She bit her lip and looked away as Ash turned to her. Soon enough, they were back to the hotel the Princess was staying at and Oriel got out first before holding the door open for Ash. "Thank you." Oriel nodded and followed Ash into the hotel as her servants grabbed her luggage and Oriel was handed her bag as she got inside and she followed Ash into the elevator. She bit her lip once again, thinking Ash over. She had learned a little about her before taking the assignment after her advisor called, needing their assistance. She was 29.. or looked about that old. She lived in a gorgeous home in Colorado, she was the new CEO of her late mother's lingerie company, having been into tae kwon do, yoga and traveling before this shit happened. She'd take the throne in just a few days and she was.. single. No one told Oriel she'd be so hot. She'd heard of the royal family but never their daughter. She walked out of the elevator behind Ash and followed her to her room. When they got inside, Oriel noticed two beds and almost frowned. She didn't think she'd get to touch her but hey.. sleeping beside her sounded like fun. Just then a text came to her phone. Oriel looked down before a voice began talking into her earpiece. Ash's dinner would be in soon. "Thanks," Oriel whispered. Oriel stood against the wall as Ash sighed, walking over to remove her heels and Oriel's eyes widened as she began unzipping her dress. Holy fuck, she was going to strip right in front of her. What a woman... Oriel swallowed when suddenly she stopped. "Oh, my apologies, Oriel. I'm just going to shower and change, now. I hate wearing dresses."
