"Good Afternoon!" I gleamed politely after I opened the door. Before me stood a young looking boy with blue hair and an eyepatch, next to him was a taller man dressed in black butler attire, his grin the same as Alfred's. That haunting smile, curving unnaturally at each corner. I was convinced that only someone as heartless as Alfred could perform such an expression.
"Uh- Hello, is this the Acacia residence?" The young boy seemed taken aback, perhaps by my simple attire. It isn't like my mansion is hard to find.
"yes, this is." I smiled sweetly, containing my excitement. "I assume you're from the Phantomhive tree?" just saying the name made adrenalin course through my body, making me want to jump around in excitement.
"Correct, is Abigail Acacia around?" The young boy tried to look past me into the house.
"Young Earl, you must be mistaken." I sigh with a small and awkward laugh. "I am Abigail Acacia.""Oh, my apologies Mistress. I mistook you for a servant." alright so he might be a bit of a jerk, but we all are at times. "I would've never expected you to answer the door yourself." The boy's eye widened in shock. "My name is Ciel Phantomhive, the founder of Funtom corp."
"I figured that..." I muttered to myself softly. "Pleasure making your acquaintance young Earl." I smiled through gritted teeth, if he's going to act like this I'll barely be able to stand him whilst eating our lunch. Seems as though someone needs a change in attitude.
"Trust me," He chuckled "The pleasure is all mine." A hint of greed lingered in his high pitched, feminine voice. I can hardly believe this boy is my age.
"Anyways, come on in Earl Phantomhive! It is absolutely unbearable weather lately." I move out of the way of the door politely, welcoming him inside.
"of course! I didn't come here just to leisurely chat and loiter outside your house all day!" He laughed, rolling his eyes. You could tell he wanted to be anywhere else right now. A haunting whisper of boredom in each word he spoke."Alfred!" I click my fingers as he quickly runs to me. "Has the blacklisting of Matilda been taken care of?"
"Yes, Milady." He replied, seemingly relieved himself.
"Thank you, The Earl has just arrived, do you think you could brew some spearmint tea for the two of us?" I let out a sigh of relief, although I don't feel this is the end of her, it did dent her opportunities to see me. I don't feel safe, though. Maybe I should sleep in a room in the basement for a while, so she can't break in through a window or something."Of course, Milady" Alfred also seemed incredibly relieved, he was the one cleaning up after her all those times after all.
"Sebastian, won't you help our host's butler?" Ciel turned to the man dressed in black. The man nodded and followed Alfred. The two walked side by side and seemed to have made some quiet conversation, both of them pulling their demonic and heartless smiles. These two should get along swimmingly.
"Come, young Earl. I know the perfect spot for us to sit and discuss." I step slowly up the staircase and had shown heed to a large balcony with a petite table and two chairs. The balcony would be a good source of fresh air and the trees and flowers would give off a delightful smell and aroma.
"I was concerned" Ciel sighed, softly scoffing. "I feared you weren't as sensible as the rumours foretold, forgive me."
"All is forgiven, young Earl." I smiled reassuring him. "For a while, I didn't believe I was as sensible either." I paused. "So, why did you stop by?" I cut straight to the point, I wasn't going to play games with him for his entire visit."Her majesty sent me over to collect something from you." Ciel admired the surrounding flora.
"Enlighten me." I raised an eyebrow in curiosity, now, what on earth could the queen want from me? I was unaware she was even aware of my existence."She requires your butler, formally named Alfred."
"Why on earth would she need him for?" I accused, harshly. I shouldn't be mad at him, he's only following orders."No clue, do you have a problem with that? He should be back within 48 hours."
"Uh, yes, I actually do have a problem with that." I sighed "I'm not sure I and the other servants could survive without him here, he's the peacekeeper."
"How so?"
"Well..." I sighed full of anxiety, should I really tell a possible threat all of this vulnerable information? "Firstly, my servants are absolutely clueless and could burn the whole place down the second Alfred leaves! As well as, obviously, my father has made many enemies who have targeted me and-"
"So your butler is also considered a bodyguard? That seems rather odd, why not just hire two separate ones. Sebastian is completely normal-" a loud crash in the kitchen averts my attention."Completely normal, huh?" I smiled cockily as I quickly race down the stairs, I hear Ciel trail behind me as I left him in the dust.
I peek into the kitchen cautiously, I see Alfred holding 3 butter knives and Sebastian holding a net gun.
"Sebastian!" Ciel shrieked as he slid beside me. "This is an order! Capture the demon butler!"
I chuckled softly, composed. "Alfred," I paused. "Don't get caught, that's an order." I smiledAlfred nods "As you wish, Mistress." Alfred smirked as I walked away.
"And where do you think you're going!?" Ciel calls behind me, I turn to face him.
"I'm going to get my tea, I'd hate for it to get cold." I winked as I turned back around, to my surprise a tall slender woman dressed in bright colours with a mask which had a poorly drawn face on it, X's on the eyes and a square nose with a large teeth grin marked in red."Lady Abigail, this fight is much too dangerous for you to be around." They put me in an arm lock and had me held against them with a chloroform cloth on my mouth. I heard Ciel's voice faintly call behind me as I quickly lost my consciousness.
