Kamryn Kelly___________I was like a deer in headlights starring at the people who had insulted and judged me in a grocery store less then two hours ago.
"Uhm." I bit my lip. "You know what, I don't want to intrude. I'll come back later Em." I try, but Brock ruins my plans.
"Nonsence Kamryn, it's fine. Please sit down, I'll go get you a plate."
Oh how kind...
I slowly took a seat beside Emily.
Avoiding eye contact from Diana and Paul."What do you want to talk about?" Emily asked aloud.
"It's kind of a sister thing, not good over a dinner table." I whispered and she nodded with a smile, completely clueless.
"Here you go." Brock sat down a glass of water and a plate of chicken with mashed potatoes.
"Thank you." I half smile, hating the situation.
Do they recognize me?
"So Kamryn, Brock did mention Emily has two sisters. Nice to meet you." She smiled.
"The pleasure is all mine." I forced myself to lie.
Far from it...
"So tell me about yourself. Are you married, any kids?"
Oh she definetly recognizes me.
"Uh, I have a daughter, she just turned 4 in December."
"Oh nice, how about your husband?"
"Mom." Brock looked at his mom as if to say stop.
"I, no I'm not, I'm not married." I looked down at my chicken.
"Hmm, too bad." She smirked.
"Mom." Brock warned again.
"Divorced?"
"No."
"Is he in the picture?""Yes." Don't say it Kamryn, don't say it."H-he's my boyfriend."
Oh my lord what did I just say.
"Woah, when did that happen?"Emily jumped up to high five me."Yes girl!"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about." I lied.
"Well we'd really like to meet him one day."
"Em, can we talk in your room?" I say through my teeth.
"Uh sure." Emily got up and followed me to her room.
"What?" She rolled her eyes
"Don't you roll your eyes at me, I know those people!" I whisper yelled.
"What?" Emily raised her eyebrows.
"Well, I don't know them know them, but I saw them at Publix. They were judging Kaylee and me!"
