Louis Tomlinson: Hey man, you coming to my house tonight?

I was cleaning up all of Kaylee's toys when I received a text from Louis.

Niall Horan: No, I have Kaylee today so Kam is gonna come over and we're just gonna celebrate that way.

I pressed the power button and continued to pick up toys.

"Aw fuck!" I dropped the box of toys and grabbed my foot after I stepped on one of Kaylee's legos. "Damn!" I sat on my couch to examine the red spot on my foot.

I'm wounded.

I massaged my foot for a bit before I set it back on the floor and continued to clean up this playground, other times referred to as my living room.

Some time later when I was sitting on my couch a groggy voice interrupted my attention on the tv show.

"Daddy." I looked to the hallway to see Kaylee with her thumb in her mouth and her blanket in her other hand.

"Hey sleepy head." I turned the tv off and went to pick her up seeing as she wasn't gonna walk towards me.

"Did you sleep good?"

"Mmmhmm." She nodded against my chest, not fully awake.

I know the feeling.

"Are you hungry?"

"Mmmhmm."

I looked at the time, 1:30.

Sounds about right.

"Okay sit right here."

"Kay" I set her on the island stool and turned on the kitchen tv to some kind of kid tv show.

I grabbed some crackers and topped them with spray on cheese with the side of cantaloupe.

"Miss Kaylee." I sat the plastic plate in front of her and she absentmindedly grabbed a cracker, fully zoned into Dr Mcstuffens.

I poured out a cup of water and sat it beside her.

"Hey Kaylee guess what?"
"What?"
"Mommy is coming over for dinner tonight."
"Why?"

"Well I thought it would be fun if mommy came over to eat with us and maybe we can play a game together. How about that?" I smiled when she did.

"Elefun?"

She jumped up almost knocking her plate off the island.

"And what about your new Disney trivia game Santa brought you?"

"What does tivia mean?"

"It's like, questions that you have to answer."

"Oh." She shrugged rocking side to side on her chair happily munching on her crackers.
