TV Show: Supernatural
Characters: Castiel, Gabriel and an OC (i didn't come up with a name)The voices were getting louder. They'd always been there, just niggling at the back of her mind, waiting for something. She'd been called a freak. Weird. A monster.
Maybe they were right.
But at this point she didn't care. The whispers weren't whispers anymore. They were shouts. Yells. So many voices all at once. It hurt her head to listen to them. So much garbled talk all at once. It hurt.
Her head felt like it was burning. She cried out in pain as her feet stumbled forwards. She couldn't remember how'd she'd ended up out here but another part of her didn't care.
Through bleary eyes she noticed a building ahead of her. With a muffled groan she made her way towards it, legs shaking violently.
The voices were becoming for insistent as they all clamoured out for the same thing. One phrase warped its way through her mind as she barged through the open doors and slumped down on a pile of hay.
"Find her."
"Find her."
"Find her."
She screamed again in agony and held her head in her hands waiting for it to stop. It didn't.
The voices just continued to whiz around her brain in panicked tones as she struggled to keep them at bay. It was no use.
She felt anger bubble up inside her, threatening to burst. How dare these voices invade her head. The anger continued to mount up, the pressure becoming too much to hold back.
So she didn't.
She let all her anger fly, unleashing it with no sense of regret or confusion. Sparks flew around her as the walls of the warehouse started to crumble.
She knew why she had come here. She'd come for her grace.
A sense of power welled up inside her and exploded once more in a burst of white light. Her eyes glowed an electric shade of blue as the grace flowed through her veins; filling her up.
The warehouse was wrecked. Smoke drifted through the rubble lazily, wisps of it floating gently around her feet. One of her eyes cracked open to survey the damage. Not pretty.
She froze at once, listening out for the distinct chatter of voices that she was so accustomed to hearing. Nothing. Utter silence.
For the first time in her life there was no noise in her head. Just nothing. The moment was interrupted by the crunch of feet on gravel a couple meters away from her.
She glanced up to see who it was and smiled. She remembered him.
The trickster grinned and opened his arms in welcome.
"Long time no see."
Before she could react, another pair of feet could be heard walking towards them, their steps much heavier, unlike the archangel's quick ones.
She smiled again and walked towards them both, new power surging through her.
"Gabriel, Castiel." She murmured, exhaling quietly. "It's good to see you again."
Gabriel grinned and ruffled her hair fondly as Castiel squeezed her hand lightly before releasing it.
"Likewise, little sis."
