Jo's POV
"It's positive." Kate told me. I grinned and clapped.
"Congratulations! This is so great! I'm panning your baby shower right now. Are you free the thirty-first?" I asked. She shook her head.
                              "Jo, wait."
"Oh, sorry. So this is incredible; you and Kellin are having a baby?...Oh, my god, how are you going to tell him?" I asked as I realized that was why Kate seemed so nervous. She shrugged, and the bus door opened up. The guy's manager walked in holding a phone to his ear.
"...Yeah, found her...yeah, Jo? The guys just went on. Your dad wanted you to come inside."
"Oh, alright, I'll be there in a second." I told him. He nodded and left the bus. I turned back to Kate.
"You are going to tell him, right?"
"Ugh, I don't know. I'll have to, right? Pretty soon I'll blow up like a balloon."
"Well, yeah, but if you don't I will." Kate sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.
"Just...don't say anything tonight, okay? I need to sort things out, but yeah, I'll tell him."
"Good. I guess I better go inside now...come with me?" She smiled and nodded as we left the bus and walked into the venue. The guys were jumping around on stage doing their thing as I waited on the side stage. This was actually the first Pierce The Veil concert I had ever been to. Of course I wasn't overly excited considering one, I was pissed at Vic, and two, I had heard them practicing about four million times.
The music played out and I heard the guys's manager speaking into a walkie-talkie. Vic turned and saw me on the stage. He smiled and waved and I just looked away. Vic turned back to the crowd and started talking to them. I knew he had planned on taking me out on stage to introduce to the fans at some point. But I didn't understand why he couldn't just post something on twitter or Facebook or something.
"So guys, I would like to introduce you to someone very special to me: my daughter Jodie!" He held out his hand to beckon me to the stage.
"You're on, Sweetheart." The manager told me as he nudged me towards Vic. I sighed and threw on the biggest fake smile I could as I strutted out to the center on the stage. I took Jaime's mic on the way so I didn't have to share Vic's.
"Hey, Babe, say 'hi' to our beautiful crowd out here tonight!" He threw his arm around my shoulder and his other up in the air as he looked out to the crowd. The fans cheered and I just stared at them.
"Don't tell me what to do, Dad." I said sarcastically so no one would take it the wrong way. Everyone laughed.
"Alright, anyway, you guys are probably wondering why you're just finding out about my girl, right?" The crowd buzzed in agreement. "Well, uh, so basically, I got a call saying that my ex had passed away and I was left something in her will. And this was what I was left." He said as he pulled me closer to him. "I was as shocked as you are, but I love her to death. I'll explain everything on twitter tonight, and Jo will be at the signing later so come talk to her."
"I will?" Vic nodded. "I will. Yes, I'll be at the signing. But don't talk to me. No I'm kidding, but seriously..." I said. "Well, see ya later Texas!" I started to walk back towards the side stage.
"Wait! Jo!" Vic called. I turned back and he came up to me. "Play a song with me?" The crowd cheered and I knew I got sucked into this before I even thought about it.
"Fine. What song?" Vic smirked and pulled me back to center stage. Vic nodded to the guys and I stood there wondering what was happening. Mike started drumming and I knew the song instantly. Vic stepped up to the mic as the fans did the clapping.
