•Clary's POV•
I woke up early for some reason. I looked over at my alarm clock and it read 8 a.m. I plopped back down on my bed, annoyed.
I'm the type of person where if I wake up earlier than what I planned, I cannot go back to sleep. So if I'm up, don't expect me to go back to bed until its time for me to back to bed at nighttime.
I stood up and went into my bathroom so I could take my shower. After I did that, I went and brushed my teeth then I brushed my hair and put it up.
I went into my closet to look for an outfit. I found the perfect outfit for my mood today.
I walked out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. I fixed me something to eat. I really wasn't that hungry so I just fixed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.??- What are you doing up so early?
I turned around I saw my mom.
CC- Hey mom.
RC- I've never seen you up this early. You're up before Erik.
CC- I know, I'm just as surprised as you.
RC- What made you get up?
CC- I don't know. I just woke up. I tried going back to sleep and it just didn't work.
RC- Oh.
CC- Hey mom is it okay if I hang out with Justin today.
RC- (chuckling) Yeah that's fine.
CC- What's so funny?
RC- It's just the fact that you asked to hang out with two different people who just so happened to be boys for the past two days.
CC- What about it?
RC- Clary, you are making new friends. You are coming out of your shell.
CC- Yeah.
RC- Can I be honest with you right now?
CC- Sure.
RC- You are wanting to hang out with Justin today, right.
CC- Yeah.
RC- Be careful today.
CC- Why are you saying that mom?
RC- There's something about him that I don't like. I just can't put my finger on it.
CC- Okay mom. I'm gonna go sit outside for a little bit.
RC- Okay.I turned and walked out the kitchen.
That was weird. I'll just ignore what my mom said about Justin.
