Based on Love Language. It was suggested by Azur13. It's basically a Supercorp version of this video. If Lena and Kara met like this instead of how they did in the show, so it's set at the very start of season 2.

(Day One)

I sat on a bench in the park across from my apartment. I took in all the sounds and smells, loving my new found life as a human.

A woman sat on the other end of the bench and put her backpack down next to her. She had headphones in and was panting as if she had just run a marathon. She had brown hair that was tied up in a neat bun, probably because she was running. Beads of sweat ran down her forehead while she heaved. I thought I recognised her, I have seen many people in my life as a Superhero but this girl seemed different.

"Nice day today, isn't it?" She didn't respond, which I blamed on the headphones. I continued reading my book but kept an eye on her. She grabbed out a pen and paper and started drawing.

After ten minutes, I looked down at what she was drawing, it was a rough sketch of the scenery around us. But most importantly, the bench we were on had only one person sitting on it and that was her. Maybe she didn't actually realise I was even here, or maybe she hadn't gotten to it yet but I wasn't in her sketch.

"Can I borrow your pencil?" I asked as an icebreaker. She didn't even flinch when I spoke so I moved slightly closer and asked louder. This time she looked up and smiled, pointing at her earphones. I didn't understand why she wouldn't just take them out to talk to me but I played along and pointed at her pencil, asking the question again.

She smiled and handed me the pencil. I thanked her and used it to write on a sticky note that I was going to give to her but she left as soon as I gave the pencil back. I slumped in the chair and sighed. 'Will I ever see her again?' I thought.

(The next day)

I was sitting on the same bench, waiting for hours.I was just about to leave but she sat down next to me. This time, she wasn't heaving and she was wearing more casual clothes. She had her hair down over her ears, I couldn't see if she had her earphones in so I started talking anyway.

"Hey, my name is Kara. What's yours?" I got no reply so I took the stickies out of my pocket and ripped off the top one, sticking the note I had written yesterday to the seat next to her.

What are you listening to?

She looked down at the sticky note. I gave her the yellow pack while I held the blue pack in my hand. She wrote something on hers and placed it over mine.

Just a song

I smiled because I had gotten her attention. I thought of what to write next, it took me a while but I finally thought of it.

What song is it?

Just a special song

Can I listen to it?

No, it's embarrassing.

I wondered why a song could be embarrassing. Maybe it's just an emotional song for her? I didn't know but I gave her another note. We kept exchanging notes for almost an hour. I learned that her name was Lena and that she lived on the opposite side of the park from me. I had an idea but I felt stupid giving her the note.

I'd love to see you again. What's your number?

Her smile dropped to a frown as she wrote her next sticky.

I don't have one. Maybe we can just meet up here again?

I beamed and looked at her. She smiled and got up, leaving me once again by myself. At least this time I knew I would most likely see her again.

(Day Three)

I waited for only ten minutes, looking down at my book. I had almost finished when I saw a hand place a sticky not on the page I was reading.

It's great to see you again. I thought you wouldn't show

She sat next to me, closer than the last two days. I grinned at her and gave her the next note.

You're late :)

She scoffed and bumped her shoulder on mine. We laughed for a while and kept giving each other notes. I learned this time that she is allergic to nuts and would love to visit Australia one day. Also that her last name is Luthor, jogging my memory about where I had seen her before. I sat there silent until she gave me another little yellow sticky.

Would you like to hear my song now?

I would like that!

She took out her left earbud and gave it to me. I put it in my left ear and listened for the music. To my surprise, nothing was happening. There wasn't any sound coming from the headphones.

"There's no music," I said. She sighed and started moving her hands around, making symbols. It didn't take me long to realise it was sign language. I nodded to indicate that I understood what she was saying and looked back down at my book. I smiled to myself and quickly wrote another sticky.

You're still beautiful
