Chapter 1

Chapter 1: first day of a new school

Eren's POV

I woke panting, sweat dripping down my forehead.

The fifth time this month I've had a nightmare.

Before I realized it tears started to fall down my face.

Why? Why did it have to happen? Why is the world so cruel?

I wiped the tears that fell and got up to get ready for the first day of a new school.

But first I called Mikasa, she was my child hood friend and she went to Historia high along with Armin, and a few others.

After a few rings she finally picked up.

"Hello?" She answered, her groggy voice indicating she had only woke up.

"Hey Mika..." I said trembling slightly because of the nightmare.

"Eren? How are you?" Her voice turned from groggy to cheerful.

"Good, I'm fine... Hey listen I was wondering if you could pick me up from my house to your school..."

"You transferred again?"

"...yeah... I did."

"Alright sis I'll be there by 7, school starts at 8 so I can have some time to show you around, bye sis."

"Awesome, bye sis." I didn't want to admit it but I missed her calling me her sister, we are best friends almost like sisters... But I had to move away.

I put the phone down and I got in the shower.

It was six o'clock now, I have plenty of time to get ready. After I finished showering I went back to my room and wore my uniform, I went down and got myself a bowl of cereal.

I fixed my hair and got my school bag ready.

And now for Mikasa...

Since its only 6:40 I decided to watch a little TV, and bad moms popped up.

A little while after, I heard a honk from outside my house.

"That must be Mika." I said to my self as I turned off the TV and went outside to see a  matte white 2016 Bentley with Mikasa in the driver's side.

I locked up my house and walked towards the car.

"Hey sis, sweet ride." I said smiling and hopping on to the passenger's side.

"Yeah I know." She said grinning proudly.

"Hey Eren!" Armin greeted from the back seat.

"Hi Armin! Long time no see!"
Even though I left them we still had contact, whether calling, chatting online, or Skype.

"Yeah I missed you." He said and me sped off.

We were now in the school campus. A lot of kids were running around and some are under a tree reading a book.

Mikasa showed me every where from the classrooms to the courts and finally to the principal's office where got my schedule and the books I needed, then we headed to my locker.
