Chapter 20: Home run

"Zeke!" Eren called out from the front of her brother's door.

She just got home from school, Levi had asked her about the game and she said she was coming along with her brother.

"Yeah?" Zeke called out from the kitchen.

She came in to find Pieck, Zeke's girlfriend sitting on the kitchen chair.

"Oh hey Pieck!" She greeted and kissed her cheek, Pieck did the same.

Pieck and Eren were like sisters, They were there for each other in times of need, enjoyment, sickness, health, dark times and end of my thinking capacity.

Then Eren kissed her brother's cheek.

"Are you guys doing something tomorrow?" She asked.

Both Zeke and Pieck looked at each other and shook their heads no.

"Well, I have a friend who is a baseball player and they asked me if I wanted to go see their game, they also said that I could bring some friends and/or family to see the game for support. And I wanted to asked both of you if you wanted to come?" She explained.

"Yeah sure," Pieck said then they looked over at Zeke.

Exited was an understatement, he was ecstatic!

"YES!" He basically yelled in excitement.

"When is it?!" He asked.

"Tomorrow at 6, and maybe we can eat somewhere after." She said.

They both agreed, Eren then went into her room.

Taking a quick shower and into her PJs, she plopped down on one the comfortable reading chairs and continued chapter 106 of Inferno.

"Eren! Dinner's ready!" Zeke yelled from the kitchen.

"Can't a person read in peace?" Eren muttered before putting on a book mark and going out of her reading nook to the kitchen.

This is speaking to all of those who love to read and write stories, we need justice! We deserve peace to read! Write! And fangirl all we want! They can't just barge in our rooms and distract us! And maybe the author is just saying this because her brothers kept distracting her by all means necessary to update. And by all means she means ALL MEANS. Growing up with (possibly) brain damaged brother is no help at all, one of which who just turned 18 and is still acting like a complete child!

This is one of the main reasons the other hasn't updated in like two, three days. Usually she can update whenever she can, however she can! So she's so sorry for this late chapter.

But anyways sorry for the rant, Eren went down stairs.

Her brother was setting up the table. Pieck was already seated.

"Hope you don't mind I join in, Eren." She smiled.

"Not at all," she said before sitting down next to her brother.

"Ooh! What's for dinner?" She asked.

"Well," he began taking the dish and placing it in front of the girls. "Since Pieck here just got back from her trip to the Philippines, I figured I'd whip up a Filipino delicacy." He continued taking the lid off.

"Chicken Adobo," he said. "With rice."

"Aww that's so sweet!" Eren exclaimed.

"Thank you, but you really don't have to do this hun." Pieck said.

"Yes I do." He laughed.

Pieck's relaxed eyes looked at her boyfriend, her lips curling upward to a small smile.
