Chapter 6: So...you two dating...?

After the waitress brought them their orders they started conversing about silly things.
While doing so, Eren noticed how Hanji and Erwin where both so sweet to each other.

The way Hanji smiled up at Erwin. The way Erwin would intertwine their hands together. The way the other says something silly the other would smile sweetly and laugh.

"So that's what happened to the lab." Eren mused.

"Yeah and seriously? Mike's lab partner accidentally spilled sodium on herself! And she said it was burning!" Hanji exclaimed.

"What she didn't know that sodium was only salt!" Eren said laughing.

"I still have the video," Hanji said holding up her phone.

As they watched the video Eren again noticed how Erwin's arm was draped over Hanji's shoulder.

"My gosh she's really clumsy. And she's making an absolute mess." Levi commented.

"That's what our teacher said!" Said Hanji.

After the video they paid for the waitress... But had a little fight who was going to pay.

"...Erwin I told you it was my turn to pay!"

"But that wouldn't be right."

"But – "

"No buts, come on Hanji it's the least I could do, I was late."

This time Hanji didn't argue.
As Erwin paid the waitress, Eren's curiosity got the best of her.

"Hanji?"

"Yes Eren?"

"Are you and Erwin dating?"

"Yup!" She answered cheerfully holding Erwin's hand and swinging it as they walked.

"And today's our 2 anniversary!" She added happily.

"Oh I forgot. Happy Anniversary you two." Levi said as he walked by next to Eren

"Awe! Happy anniversary you guys!" I said hugging Hanji and shaking hands with Erwin.

Stay strong.

Was Eren's only thought before she let go.

"Thanks!" She said while kissing Erwin's cheek.

"So far this has been one of the best dates ever." Erwin laughed.

"I agree."

The 4 of them continued on the walk back to their houses.

Who knew that they we're cute as a couple?  The thought of them reminded Eren of her previous school and the memories in it.

No! It was just a mistake! I hated it! I don't want to go through it again!
She sighed as the thought ran through her mind.

"Oi brat, you okay?" Levi asked concerned. Hanji and Erwin we're walking behind them hand in hand in their own pace.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Just lost in thought..." She said putting on a smile.

Levi nod.

Meanwhile Hanji was fangirling about how cute the two were.

"I think they should go out together." She suggested.

"Yeah I agree. But knowing Eren for a little while now, I can tell she's the one to play hard to get."

"And you're saying I'm not?"

"No! Not like that! I mean I courted you for 6 months! You were very hard to get, you know?"

"Yeah I know."

"I love you, Hanji."

"And I love you more Erwin."

"I love you most."
