Chapter 11

I have another mate! This just keeps getting better and better. (No sarcasm intended). I, also, know more about myself now.

His dragon was so majestic, tall, and radiated strength and power. But... Whitney said nothing about having another mate. I sighed. Oh well, I'll talk to her about that later.

Whitney and I told the dragons to shift while we hid behind some trees to do the same. I stripped and tied my shorts to my leg and shifted into my black and white tribal-marked wolf.

We walked out from behind the trees about to lead the dragons to main pack town when I saw Leonidas's hand. Well, his dragon's hand, on the forest floor, looking me in the eyes expectantly as if he wanted to get on it.

When he was done staring at my eyes, he, finally, noticed our coats and let out a gasp. Then he moved so fast that I barely saw him move.

He, gently, picked me up and I yelped in surprise that he would man-handle me like that. I squirmed wanting to get out of his hold and back on the ground. He must have sensed that because he flattened his palm so I could get up.

I jumped to my feet and growled at him, snapping my jaws at his thumb. I heard Whitney howl up to Leonidas, wanting a ride on his hand too.

I stuck my tongue out at her and she and Leonidas rolled their eyes at me.

He lowered his hand, with me in it, to the ground and Whitney hopped on and we started our journey to Whitney's home.

We circled in the air above the pack town while Whitney contacted her pack, telling them about the clan of dragons entering the town.

I licked Leonidas's palm to get his attention and when he looked at me, I gestured to my shorts and Whitney's shirt, wanting to shift.

He cupped his hand with Whitney and I was in and covered us with his other one. I walked over to Whitney and licked her wolf's head, then turned around and shifted, throwing on my shorts.

Before I could turn around, Whitney wrapped her arms around my waist and licked her mark. I moaned, then spun around and knocked her on her back, my body falling on my hands so I wouldn't smush her with my weight, smashing my lips to hers.

Leonidas must have been startled by all of our movement he, quickly, removed his hand and saw us making out. He let out a breath which warmed us and broke us apart.

Whitney's eyes glazed over probably receiving a mind-link.

She blinked and turned to the swooning clan leader, "You can land now, Leonidas."

He immediately dived toward the town circle and landed in a crouch, startling me and causing Whitney to yelp.

He heard it and put his enormous muzzle in her hair. If that had been someone else that scared her, they would be in a lot of pain. When he had finished comforting her, he, slowly, got down on his knees and let us get back on solid ground that didn't move!
