To whom it may concern:
Choices.
No, I'm not talking about the simple ones
Like: to wake up, to take a bath, to go to school
I'm talking about the huge ones
For example: to move on from you
I thought, it was time to finally make a choice

I'm so tired with all these catching
You know, I'm not the one to catch
But why did I make you an exception?
I got tired with all your running
I thought you would hold up and wait
But of course it was just a thought
I was never an athlete anyways
Never have been an athlete in love
But if there was a club hosting a training for track and field, I'd surely join
I'd probably would never give up so fast if I ran like you.

Moving on from you sounded like a decent decision
I mean you never showed interest and why shouldn't I move on?
I can't continue self-hurting you know

Before I end this letter, I have a question.
Was it a choice to lure me in?
Was it a choice to set a bait for me?

Cause falling for you wasn't a choice
It was never a choice
You weren't even a choice
Like you were always my cup of tea
But a girl can't have everything can't she?

I hope it's also your choice to leave me be
Because my choice of healing from non-existent wounds is still doing its effect.
I don't expect you to reply so
I bid you my goodbyes.

From your non-existent lover:
Maria
