ONE-SIDED
-DANICA MARASIGANIt had always been one-sided
When it came to me and you
And the thought I had of us
Were always too good to be trueHopelessly waiting for nothing
Pathetically waisting tears
For someone who couldn't love me
Even after all these yearsWITH YOU
-cthWhat is the probability
That we will ever meet?
When will gravity let me
Sweep you off your feet? When all my words
Written on a paper sheet,
Reach your ears
Sounding short and sweetWhat will happen
If the world stops turning?
Will this stop
My live for you from burning? Why won't God listen to
My constant prayers and pleas?
Will history replay itself
Or should I accept defeat?I won't stop believing
If it meant being beside you,
My everythingSUPERNOVA
-MARIA LEANA ALEXIS ROCAHe kisses you and suddenly, the universe explodes
Your blood rushes faster that sound; your pounds in time with the drums in the distance. A plethora of lights dances behind your eyelids. Everything melts away, leaving thoughts of his hands curling around your waist. His typical immaculate hair sticking up in every direction. His eyes, God his eyes are looking I you with such love. You briefly wonder if things would always be this perfect.
Voices break through from the other room
"Where's Seth?"
"Oh, he went to find Lily. Something about catching up."
You feel rather than hearing him sucking in a sharp breath.
You know what he's going to say before he even says it.
You decide to leave before being left.
Not looking at him once, you step out of the room. And it's hard; it's excruciating - until you do.
Realizing it's the easiest thing in the world.
