PIECES
-DANICA MARASIGANYou built a home inside of him
But how were you to know
That when he'd leave you here for dead
You'd have nowhere else to go?So you pick up a pen and paper
Along with the other pieces too
And you learn to play with words
The way he played with youTRAMPLED FLOWER
-RAPHAEL LUIS SALISEDearest little flower
Blooming at early June
Braving the heat if the warms sun
To the kiss of the wind would she swoonOh, little flower
You such a beautiful sight to see
The boys would come by at the meadow
To sing songs to you merrilySweet little flower
You were so innocent and pure
With white petals adorned in red
You were the epitome of demureOne day, little flower
Someone finally picked you up
You have never been so happy
You cannot stopPoor little flower
She was warned not to open her heart
Now she lies on the pavement, trampled
Her whole life was torn apartMY SEA
-MLYou were the sea
In which I was floating in
The tosses and turns
Took me to places
I never knew existedYou were the sea
Which I decided to explore
And the deeper I went
The more I discovered
Such incredible thingsYou were the sea
That raged about around me
Tried to drown with your waves
And I, constantly,
Had to come up for airDespite all that's happened
And all that will no longer
"There are many other fish to catch"
Would always be invalid
Because you were my sea
