Kankuro's POV
Gaara was hysterical. He sulked and silently cursed himself everyday. Two weeks passed and he was counting te seconds to her return.
"hey Gaara, you alright?" I asked as I entered his office. He had a letter in his hand and looked distressed. I took it from him and read it. Turns out that something came up and she's spending extra time.
"Relax Gaara, it's just one more week" I tried to cheer him up but it obviously didn't work. He sighed and went back to work but his mind was anywhere but Kazekage work. I turned to leave but stopped when he asked me something.
"What do you think came up?"he asked looking worried.
"I don't know" I said before leaving
Sasuke's POV
Chidara wasn't too happythat the hokage made her stay for another week and we all knew why.
"Chidara, He's not gonna die in the space of one more week'I said to my pacing cousin. She stopped and looked at me.
"He's not gonna die but he's gonna be pissed'she spat.I sighed. There was a knock at the door so I went to answer it. I opened the door and saw all our friends there.
"What do you want?"I enquired.
"We're here to cheer Chidara up' Temari said as she passed me and just walked in. Soon everyelse followed suite. I sighed for like the hundredth time today then went back to my spot on the couch.
"So, future sis-in-law, how you holding up"asked Temari.Chidara blushed at Temari's words.
"I'm fine"she lied.
"She's lieing,she's been pacing around the house sulking all day"I stated.She threw me a look that said 'I'm gonna kill you'
"I got a letter from Kankuro saying Gaara isn't much better and isn't very happy about you staying an extra week. He's depressed which means when you return, you're never going anywhere again" Temari explained. As Temari spoke Chidara fell to her knees.
"I'm gonna die"she stressed.
"no you're not,he won't hurt you. You know he loves you too much for that" Ino said. She looked more reassured by that and smiled.
"Love is a way to show the passion of youthfulness burning in one's heart" Lee exclaimed.We all sweatdropped.
Tenten's Pov
We all had to admit that we were jealous of Chidara.Everything was going well for her love life while the guys don't even bat an eye at us. Neji was the worse, ever since the day he came back he's been avoiding me. It really hurts sometimes.
"All guys exit thwe room"Chidara demanded,so they all left.
"So, we can see you girls need help" she said pointing to Temari and herself. We all nodded. A fter a mountain of instructions,questions and arguements we finally left. The week passed gradually and the day of Chidara's departure finally came. We all said goodbye to her and she transported to Sunakagure.
"Neji" I called to him before he could leave. He hesitantly stopped.
"Why are you avoiding me?"I asked not beating around the bush.
"I'm not" he replied.
"Really?"I asked.
