Great News

A/N - As for what happened in the last chapter, I'll allow your imagination to take you places.

Chidara'spov

It's been 7 months since I married Gaara. We were in Konoha for Sasuke and Sakura's wedding. The coward finally asked her three months ago. Naruto and Hinata, Temari and Shikamaru and Kyo and Anisa also got married recently.

" You have to relax Sakura" Ino said.

"Yeah,relax" I said while eating my third chocolate bar.

"How can you still be hungry?" Temari asked and I shrugged. Sakura and Ino looked at each other and their faces broke out into huge grins.

"What's up with you guys?" Tenten asked. She and Neji got engaged recently as did everyone except Ino and Sai. Ino can't wait for him to ask but each time she thinks he will, he doesn't.

"You need to stop eating those candy bars and eat some fruits" Sakura said and took the chocolate from me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because, it's not good for the baby" Ino said.

"Oh, wait what baby?!" I shouted, everyone except them were just as shocked as I was. They walked up to me and rubbed my stomach.

"I can already feel the powerful chakra pattern. It's very similar to Gaara's meaning the baby will most likely use sand." Sakura explained. I was frozen in place. I heard screaming from Temari who was jumping with joy and hugging Anisa.

"How far along is she?" Temari asked when she calmed down.

"About three months come on, we have to go confirm it" Ino said as she pulled.

" Mrs. Sabaku, you're 3 months pregnant" the Doctor told me and I grinned.

"Yeah!" I said and ran out.

"Wait, you need to.." l could hear her calling to me as I exited.

"So?" Sakura asked and I handed her the paper.

"When's your first appointment? Did she prescribe anything that'll help with morning sickness or nausea?" asked Ino.

"I ran out before she had the chance to" I said while scratching the back of my head.

"Now that you mention it, you do have a bump showing. It's small but noticeable if you look closely" said Anisa while rubbing my tummy. I nodded and smile.

"When are you gonna tell Gaara?" asked Temari.

"Tomorrow after the wedding" I said.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" the pastor said. They kissed and we cheered. Sakura tossed the bouquet and Ino caught it/ Sai then pulled her out of the church and away from everyone else.

"Gaara I have something I want to tell you" I said.

"What is it?" he asked I was about to tell him when he was called up to say something about the bride and groom.

"I really don't have anything to say. I wasn't friends with the groom in fact we wanted to kill each other once," he began and the atmosphere got tense.

"But after a very, very, very long time we stated to get along. I want to congratulate him and his wife and warn him that if he screws up, he's dead" he finished and came of stage. Everyone was dumbfounded and I ran up there.

"Excuse my husband, he doesn't mean that. But I do when I say I would kill you cuz. Any ways, congrats guys" I was about to leave when I remembered the baby.

"Silly me, I almost forgot. I got some exciting news yesterday" I said.

"What?" Naruto asked. I took a deep breath then yelled into the mike.

"I'm 3 months pregnant!" The sound glass shaterring turned our attention to Gaara who was frozen with his eyes wide open. His hands were still in the position of holding the wine glass even though it was now shattered on the floor. 

"Yo Gaara! Gaara!" Kankuro said as he waved his hand in front of Gaara's face. Much to our surprise Gaara stated smiling. It was a rare genuine smile that could warm the hearts of the coldest person.

"He's smiling! Quick someone call a doctor the shock must have done something to him" Kankuro said. Gaara got up smacked his head and knelt before. He then kissed my stomach and whispered.

"Thank you"

"We got engaged" Ino yelled as she ran in.

6 months and 2 weeks later

" Push milady" said the doctor as another wave of pain hit me.

"What do you think I'm doing-ah!" I said as I pushed.

"Where's Gaara?" I asked. He was supposed to be here.

"He's on his and so are the others" said Temari as she held my hand while rubbing her slightly bulged stomach. Everyone was now married and she, Hinata and Kirika were pregnant. I think Tenten and Anisa are too but I hardly see them so I'm not sure.

" One more" the doctor said and I gave a big push. The sound of crying filled the air. The doctor cleaned the baby and handed him to me.

"It's a boy" she said. At the same time the door opened and everyone came in. Gaara rushed to my side. I handed the baby to him.

"What are we gonna name him?" he asked and I smiled.

"Yahiro, Sabaku no Yahiro" I said and he opened his eyes.

"He looks exactly like how Gaara looked except the blue in his eyes are a little darker" Kankuro remarked. Gaara handed Yahiro back to me while he went for something and he started crying. I tried cooing him but it didn't work.

"He doesn't like me" I said while tears came to my eyes. Everyone tried to make him stop crying but nothing worked. Gaara came back and took him and instantly he was quiet. He made a few baby sounds while reaching towards Gaara's face. Gaara gave him his finger and Yahiro took it and started laughing.

"I guess he just wants his dad" Sasuke said and I stated crying.

"I went through all the hardship of pregnancy just for him to come and prefer his father" I whined. Gaara then rocked him to sleep.

"Here" he said while handing the sleeping baby to me. I took him and after a while he stated fussing in his sleep so Gaara took him back and he calmed down. Gaara crawled in bed beside after everyone left. I rested my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.

A/N- Only one chapter left. I can't believe I came this far with the book. It has been wonderful.
