Chapter 8 || I Don't Want to Be Rescued

Chapter 8 || I Don't Want to Be Rescued 

(Y/n) POV 

I was peacefully sleeping then I heard glass break. I woke up almost immediately. I looked in the direction I heard the glass shattering. The giant window in my room was destroyed. I walked to my window and looked down. I saw someone I did not want to see. It was Link.

He said, "Princess, you're alright. Come on jump down. I'll catch you."

I said, "I can't."

He said, "Then I'll come up to you." Link then got out his hookshot and aimed it at the wall.

I got nervous. I didn't want to go back to Hyrule. So I thought fast. 

"Link, don't," I said "There is a magical barrier that is around this castle. It will kill you if you try to break it."

I then put my (right/left) hand behind my back. I used Dark Magic to make a magical barrier. I then touched it. The impact forced me back against the wall. 

I was breathing very heavily, "See I told you Link. The only reason I'm still alive is because I didn't try to break it."

I hoped Link bought my lie. I don't want to be rescued.

"Don't worry Princess, I'll find a way around it."

I said, "Link go back. Before Ganondorf realizes you are here."

Link said, "I will but I'll be back for you."

I hate the way he makes my heart flutter. I hate that I still love him. I know he doesn't love me back. So why do I put myself through this torture?

Ganondorf POV 

I hid outside of (Y/n)'s door. I heard everything. But one thing that surprised me was her. I never put a barrier around my castle but she did. She didn't want to be rescued. Then once I knew Link started leaving I went into her room. I saw her in her (f/c) gown staring at Link. She had no idea I was in there with her. Then I saw Link turn around and he saw me.

"Is someone trying to save the Princess?" then I put my hands on (Y/n)'s shoulders, and Link ran back to Hyrule.

I then led her to the throne room. I then put a magical barrier around us. So she had no where to go. 

I whispered in (Y/n)'s ear, "The more time I spend with you the more interesting you become."

(Y/n) said, "I am not going back to Hyrule."

I said, "Wise choice." I then released (Y/n) from my grip. She said, "I don't want to get rescued. I'm nothing like my sister or mother." 

Then she started walking away from me. I wrapped my arms around her. 

She asked, "What else do you want? You know what I did and you already know I'm not leaving. What else do you want to question me about?"

"If you told me everything already why are you still trembling? I'm not letting go until you tell me."

I saw she was summoning her black and purple flames. I let go then I teleported in front of her. Grabbing her hands and the flames soon went out.

"No escaping me now. Now, why are you trembling? What are you hiding from me?"
