Chapter 24 || The Union of Power and Darkness 

3rd Person POV 

Ganondorf stood by an alter waiting for his future queen. As he was standing there he was exchanging death stares with Link. 

He thought: 

Maybe (Y/n) was right. Maybe they just made us come here to set us up. I shouldn't of-

Ganondorf was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw his princess walking to him. Kreel was walking her down the aisle. The younger female wore a beautiful white dress with gold and flowers embroidery lining its edges. The sun was shining down onto her slivery crown. Her eyes found themselves onto her beloved Gerudo. 

She soon found herself standing in front of Ganondorf. Ganondorf quickly grabbed her hands in his. All the doubt and anger melted away as he admired his soon to be wife. 

The priest behind the alter spoke, "Today we celebrate not just a wedding but a bridge of peace. Through the union of our princess and the king of the Gerudo we will hopefully have an end of violence and tension. You may say your vows."

"I promise to be your lover, your campaign, your partner in all things. I swear to protect you no matter what. To put your needs and safety before myself. And if anyone dare to bring you harm I will deliver their head to you on a silver platter. And if I loose you I will whatever is necessary to bring you back, safe in my arms. And I will never show any mercy to those who aren't worthy. I am yours in this and the rest of our lives and you will be mine." Ganondorf stated then he grabbed some earrings. "These earrings are specially made for you. Something beautiful, rare, and exquisite for an equally exquisite, rare, and beautiful princess. With these earrings I claim you and I promise myself to you."

(Y/n) spoke her vows, "You a Gerudo and me a Hylian, we have many differences. But we can overcome the challenges life brings, but only together. I promise to love you and only you for all my lives. I will protect you, stand by your side, and fight with you. And although I haven't known you extremely long but I know it is you I was made to be with. I present you with these earrings to symbolize my love, sincerity, and commit to our relationship." (Y/n) showed him the earrings.

Then Ganondorf put the earrings, he presented to (Y/n), on her. As she did the same. Once they wore the others gift Ganondorf grasped (Y/n)'s hands gently but firmly. 

"Lord Ganondorf, do you take Princess (Y/n) (M/n) of Hyrule to be your queen until the end of time?"

"I do." Ganondorf smiled while looking into the princess's eyes. 

"My princess, do you take the king of the Gerudo as your husband and king for as long as you will live?"

"I do." 

"May your union be blessed by the goddesses. May they give you the strength, wisdom, and courage to endure life's hardships together. And now with the power vested in me, I name you husband and wife as well as king and queen. King Ganondorf, you may kiss the bride!"

Ganondorf pulled (Y/n) close to his body. He put on hand on her cheek while she put her hands on his chest. Ganondorf started to passionately kiss her. She quickly melted under his warm touch then kissed back. 

While they did this Kreel was crying. She wasn't crying tears of joy but tears of pain and sadness. Because she knew this was probably the last time she'd see her sister this overjoyed.
