Chapter 26 || When Peace Fails

This is the end of Power and Darkness (Ganondorf x Reader)  I hope all of you enjoyed this ride with me. I love this story and I'm sad its finally over. Now I kinda want to do a remake of this book because I don't have the heart to erase its early chapters. I want to hear of your opinions about it. Also do you guys want a sequel? I think it would be fun to write a sequel to this book but I want your opinions as well. Also my decisions will be posted on this book so stay around a little longer for any news. I hope you enjoyed this story!!

Chapter 26 || When Peace Fails

3rd Person POV 

Ear-piercing screams could be heard from the doctor's operating room. (Y/n) was giving birth to her daughter.  Her vision was clouded by tears. All she could see were blurs of the lights above her, the doctor working on her, and Ganondorf holding her hand. She was experiencing the most pain she had ever felt. It felt like something inside her was ripping her apart from the inside. Then the doctor put a needle into the queen. 

He said, "Don't worry, your majesty Ganondorf, this will ease the pain."

(Y/n) started to breath very heavily while squeezing Ganondorf's hand. All of the sudden, (Y/n)'s hand was engulfed with her purple and black flames. Her eyes widened and Ganondorf let go of her hand. Her flames hit the ceiling of the room. 

Kreel and Link burst into the doors and look at (Y/n). Ganondorf motions for them to sit down. Ganondorf grabbed (Y/n)'s hand again. Making her flames disintegrate. 

She said weakly, "G-Gan-Ganondorf....  (D/n) is a fighter for sure."

"Takes after both of us." Ganondorf smiled while bringing her hand to his lips. 

Then the doctor said, "Push, push, on 3. 1... 2... 3..."

There was a new sound added to the room. A baby's crying. Ganondorf is handed the child and he gives her to (Y/n). 

"(D/n) has your eyes and my hair."

(Y/n) says her voice breaking into a whisper, "How can you tell? I thought babies were born with their eyes closed."

"I just know. And I can see little pieces of red hair on her head."

Ganondorf took (D/n) back from (Y/n)'s arms. 

~~2 months later~~

"You were right, sweetheart. (D/n) has my eyes with your hair."

"When am I ever wrong?"

"All the time except this time."

While (Y/n) and Ganondorf started talked with each other Kreel stared at them from her window. She let (Y/n) live longer than her mother wanted. She just didn't think she had the heart to kill her sister. But she knew she'd have to do it.

"Link. I'm going to go through with it today."

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes, there is no turning back now."

She went to her sister. As she approached her sister she summoned her rapier to her hand. (D/n) started to cry, as if she knew what was going to happen. Kreel impaled (Y/n) with her rapier. (Y/n)'s Tetraforce piece started to levitate over her head. Ganondorf caught her as she fell to the ground. Quickly Kreel and Link grabbed (Y/n) hand. With all 4 wielders touching each other their pieces turned into a large figure once again. Kreel touched it.

"I wish for the Tetraforce to be no more. Restore it to the Triforce."

(Y/n)'s piece disappeared and the Tetraforce became a Triforce. She whispered weakly, "Ganondorf... I-I p-promise... we will meet again... in another... l-life." Then she slowly closed her eyes.

"Kreel, Link, I swear I will make it my personal goal to bring back (Y/n) no matter what. No matter how many lifetimes it takes. I will do it and I will make both of you suffer."

With that said a black mist surrounded Ganondorf. When it cleared he, (Y/n), and their daughter were gone.

"Link, maybe Father was right. Instead of keeping Hyrule safe from wars. I just brought another one."
