Chapter 13

Chapter 13 Daniels pov

Rebecca looks so damn hot in that dress. Her curves are portrayed perfectly, also her hair was beautiful. Her innocence keeps me at bay, without that well me and her would be on our way to paradise! Why does she tease me like this, her natural beauty and her sweet smell of vanilla. I hear a knock on the door. Ugh I don't want to get up. I fall out of bed, with my angel still asleep. I open the door, I probably look like a complete mess right now.

It's Melanie standing there with her arms crossed. "We need to talk now." Melanie sneers and turns on her heel, she walks straight to my study room. I slump back in my chair, Melanie sits on my couch, she looks just her mother, with her midnight black hair and deep blue eyes.

"Melanie I thought you were dead!" I say, how could she of done this to me! I was worried sick.

"Please! Me dead? Oh you must of found the dust. Well yea about that I found my mate, and um daddy's friends weren't to happy. They send some delinquent to my house to kill me, but I killed him." Melanie stares at her nails.

"Wait you have a mate!?" I say a little to loudly, she's only 14!

"Yea pay attention, I said it the first time." Melanie rolls her eyes, she had dad's temper for sure. "His name is Dominic, and um a werewolf." She whispers at the end, she gives me her puppy eyes, because she knows I can get mad at her with that look.

"A werewolf! Why a werewolf? Melanie they can't trusted. How old is this douc... This kid? I have to meet him, you can't sleep in the same house." I'm going to have to check on her a lot more often now damn it.

"He's fifteen, as why not you can sleep with Rebecca? He can be trusted, he loves me. You can meet him tonight. Lay a finger on him and you will have a stake to your heart in seconds from me. Got it asshole." Melanie is now serious. I nod. No sense in arguing with her. She always gets what she wants. At least she won't hurt Rebecca.

"Caroline is totally a disaster at the moment. You better let her know your alive." I say motioning for her to leave.

Tears stream down her face and she starts to sob. I rush to her side in a blink of an eye. "What's wrong, don't cry." I hold her in my arms.

"Caroline's dead, that was Marcus the shapeshifter vampire. He's close friends of dad's friends the Yin clan. They are out to get me Danny." Melanie muffles sobs into my shirt.

"Melanie, they won't touch you. Not over my dead body." I feel anger rise in me, my fangs on the verge of killing. I will kill them even if it is the last thing I do.

"What if they get to Rebecca? Who will you save? Her or me? Save Rebecca, leave me if you have to make that choice. I know how much Melanie means to you and if you lost her Danny, well you would die too. She could help you overcome my death, but I can't help you with her death. Please Danny, will you do that for me. You are truly the best brother in the world. Never forget that." Melanie hugs me and glides gracefully out of the door.

Don't worry my sweet Melanie, they will never get you are Rebecca, not while I'm here.

I clumsily stumble back to my room. I open the door and fall into bed. My eyes droop down and I pass out.

The feeling of kisses down of my neck feel amazing. I open my eyes to see Rebecca staring at me. "Hey sleepy head, get up." Rebecca got up and is no longer in her dress. She stood there in her lace bra and underwear. I basically run out of bed and pick her up.

"Sexy, why do you do this to me?" I ask in seductive tone. Her eyes widen and she places her hands right above my ears and kiss her. I start to slide my hands down to her but and begin to tug at her lace underwear.
