If your a Bts fan in the song 2!3! you hear this term.
This term has multiple meanings. it can be a question or an answer.
so well start with the question.
"야, 괜찮아?" (yah, gwaen-chanh-a) trans "hey, you ok?"
" 야 " (yah) means hey. like when you yell at your friend hey! in korean you'd yell 야 ! (yah)
how you would respond would be for example "네, 괜찮아." (nae, gwaen-chanh-a) "yes, im ok" also could mean "yes, im fine"
so in the song 2!3! they are saying its ok.
how to say its ok there are multiple ways
괜찮아gwaen-chanh-a) and 괜찮아요 (gwaen-chanh-a-yo)
for example if someone spilt coffee they'd apologize, let me show you again ill use the name 천사
천사: 아, 미안해요!!!
you would respond with "괜찮아"
depending on what happens depends as to what 괜찮아 or 괜찮아요 means. this also is the case with 네 and 아니요.
