chapter fourteen

TIMESKIP 1 WEEK

Hell is empty and all the devils are here.

Declan looked at his watched and goes with his hand through his blonde hair. He was laying on the sofa in the big living room reading his book, The Tempest. On the other sofa lies Aiden leaving the chairs the only available place to sit. He and Aiden were the only ones in the room as Brooke, Lyra, and Drago was doing the dishes. The others were still upstairs getting ready for school because to say would be their first day. Some were more excited than others. Declan sat up when he saw Drago, Lyra, and Brooke coming out of the kitchen. As Lyra sat down next to him on the sofa Ravi walked in with a big smile on his face.

"Are you guys also so excited to go to school?"

"No, and don't get your hopes up. School is horrible." Aiden said and Ravi's smile disappeared.

I kind of feel bad for him. He was really excited about going to school and Aiden ruined it for him. Ravi walked over to the empty sofa next to Brooke, shop immediately tried to cheer him up. And it apparently worked because you could see a little smile forming on Ravi's face. A minute or so later Ruby walked into the room and Aiden started talking to her how he doesn't want to go and how she doesn't really mind going to school. 

"How do you feel about going back to school?" Declan looked up to Lyra and shifted in his seat.

"It'll be better than my old school but I don't really mind."

"I agree. I'm not so excited as others but I'm also not so disappointed as Aiden."

Declan went back to his book as the others walked into the room.

"Since when do you have glasses, Lotus?" Brooke asked and Declan looked up, together with a few others, to look at Lotus.

"Already fed up with your contacts?" Lyra snickered.

"Yup," Lotus said as she sat on an empty chair and set her crutch beside her. She was healed enough to walk with only one crutch now but it would still take a few days for her to be fully healed.

"We should probably get going now if we want to make it in time," Koda picked up his backpack as some stood up and others groined. 

After a few more complaints everyone got up and walked out of the mansion and to the boat. When they got to the school they walked straight to the principal's office. A few students looked at them but most students just ignored them. Ruby, Lotus, and Lyra were the first ones to go into the office because they are in the lowest grade of the group. After a few minutes, they came back with their schedules, locker combination, and some more information about the school and their rules.  

"We're going to find our lockers. We see you soon!" Ruby said as they walked off.

After they walked off Aiden, Ravi, Anastasia, and Lewis were called into the office.

"These lockers are way bigger than at our old school." Lotus looked at the numbers on the lockers to are which matches hers. Lyra, and Ruby nod in agreement.

"I found mine!" Ruby put in her code and opened it.

"Can you decorate your locker just like in the movies?" Lyra asked.
