Ravens POV

The cheers from the crowd still rung in my ears as I was dragged into a new hallway, lightened with old fashioned lights all along it. With the little strength I had left, I managed to stand myself and shake to two hands off me.

"I can walk myself." I snarled at the two demon guards. They both nodded and one continued to walk in front of me, while the other behind me. I rolled my eyes, this is so unnecessary. After going into an elevator and then through another hallway, that was much better looking than the last hallway. This was clearly much more looked after, as well as used. The guard in front of me stopped in front of a door. He knocked and waited for a reply. I got a sense of deja vu as we waiting for a response. Laughing and cheers could be heard from inside and then the door opened to reveal my grandfather, who had rosey red cheeks and a huge smile upon his face.

"Here she is, the woman is the hour!" He shouted, revealing the beer in his hand, I smiled and walked towards the drunken man and engulfing him in a hug.

"Aw, my princess." The old man mumbled as he hugged me back. I could feel how content my devil was with the small moment I was having with my grandfather.

"C'mon then, invite her in! I want to meet my queen." A voice shouted from inside the room. My grandfather nodded to the guards and led me into the room that over looked the stadium I was competing in. You could see the crowd of demons below, also watching, laughing as music played so loud.

Within this sitting room, it was again the same old themed room as the castle was. Old, red and cream colours chairs, wooden walls, old (creepy) paintings. You name it. My eyes finally landed on an extremely tall and big man in front of me. He had long red hair and red beard, with a tattoo across his eye and sleeves on his arms. This guy was ripped and looked like he could take on a whole army of werewolves or demons and win, single handedly. For a moment, I felt intimidated by his size. As he saw me, I saw his brown eyes lighten and suddenly his huge arms wrapped around men squeezing me tight. I wheezed until he let me go, his face showing only half of the excitement and happiness I'm sure he was feeling. My grandpa laughed at the sight.

"Oh, Raven, its so nice to meet you!" He said, acting like and excited child, about to get an ice cream from their parents.

"Raven this is Jonah, my advisor and soon to be yours. He is my finest warrior and one of the best men I have ever met." My grandfather said proudly. I smiled and shook Jonahs hand.

"Congratulations on winning the games this year, that was one of the best fights I have seen for many years and I'm proud to serve under you." Jonah said proudly, calming down considerably and bowing his head in my direction. My smile grew as we sat down in the chairs facing the crowded stadium.

"Now, lets get to it shall we?" My grandfather asked, looking between Jonah and I.

"Tonight you will be crowned as Queen and then, for a few weeks both Jonah and I will be by your side but in time, I will retire. There is a few things I need to do before I pass on in the world." My grandfather said, the smile on his face, not matching his grim tone. To say I was shocked was an understatement and to say my devil was over the moon was also, an understatement. I thought I wasn't being crowned until I had gone through a second phase of training.

"Are you sure I'm ready?" I asked, looking at the two men sitting next to me. Jonah laughed and my Grandfather rolled his eyes.

"Of course you're ready, you were ready the moment you came back with me." The old man said, my stomach dropped a bit as the memories from that day passed through my mind, but I shook them away and smiled in response to my grandfather.
