Austins POV
I sat at the table, watching my mate leave with her carer and brother. My anger was simmering inside me. Why can't she stay? Why can't she just..
"He looks very familiar.." I heard my father mumble. I looked up at him, waiting for him to explain his thought further.
"I will go over some files, but I know his face and son, I don't think that's a good thing." He said, shaking his head a little. I sighed, not liking the bad news.
"Just what we need, more rouge problems." My mother spoke up, looking between my dad and I. I sighed again and slowly continued to eat the food in front of me, hoping my beautiful little mate was okay.
A little while later, I laid in my bed, my mind only thinking about her, my mate, my beautiful mate. Her beautiful hair, her angelic voice, her body, her plump lips and her eyes, oh how I couldn't stop seeing them. Although they seem so familiar, like I've seen her eyes before, just not her? If that makes sense. My thoughts continued to linger most of the night. All of them about her.
I barely know anything about this girl, she could be dangerous, she's unpredictable, but she's the only one I want and I have a feeling she's all I'm ever going to need.

I woke up, that morning with the eagerness to see my mate again and to my surprise, the result of this was actually looking forward to the full day of school ahead of me. I'm pretty sure it only took me about ten minutes tops, to get ready this morning and I was out the front door before you could call out my name.
As I entered the large high school, I put my 'cool' act on, so to speak. I acted like it was just another day, with just the usual classes, but on the inside my wolf and subconscious self were pacing with eagerness and excitement, waiting to catch onto her scent. We waited, until it was first period, but there was no sign of her.
At recess, we waited again, until second period came and still, my little mate was no where to be seen.
At lunch, we did the same. Become more anxious, our act slightly slipping the more anxious we became. Every hour that passed without her around seemed to drag on for forever. I hated it. It wasn't until my eyes met Deion's, that my act disappeared. I stood up, ignoring the questions from my friends and made my way over to where he was sitting. Adrenalin was pumping through my veins as I approached.
"Deion, where's Raven?" I asked, in a calm tone, not wanting to create any problems in the middle of the lunch hall. I looked Deion dead in the eyes and he starred back at me, thinking about what he was going to say.
"She... She's just at home, probably chilling.." He said, almost like he was trying to believe his own lie, "She won't be at school today, obviously," He continued to say, "Id suggest you stay away from her from now on though, little prince."
The sound of the bell rang in my ears, but I didn't move nor take my eyes away from his, I just continued to stare at him and him back at me.
"You wouldn't want her to get hurt would you?" He asked standing up and stretching his arms, avoiding the looks I was giving him. What did that mean?
"Well.." He said after a second, "I'll be seeing you around, mate." He finished, walking off, into a corridor.
