Cody:
"Who are you?" Cody asks, before coughing a few times and groaning because of a sharp pain in his back.
The woman said nothing but did leave a plate of food in the corner of the room to the right of the door. The only thing Cody could make out of the girl was a strand of blond hair that had seemingly crept out from under a hat she was wearing.
Blaire:
Sitting in the back seat of her parents' red jeep, Blaire played a few games on her phone before falling asleep to help the time go by fast.
Soon enough, she was woken by her mother, who had turned around, "We're here!" she smiled, "Five more minutes and we'll be at Sadie's!"
As she slowly woke up, she looked around for her phone until she realized it was tucked away in the pocket of her hoodie.
Blaire: I'm five minutes away.
Sadie: Ahh! I'm so excited.
Blaire looked at the time on her phone. 9:53 PM.
Sadie:
"She's five minutes away!" Sadie called from upstairs as she finished cleaning up both her room and the guest bathroom. After situating a pillow and fixing her bedside lamp, Sadie raced down the stairs in excitement.
"Slow down!" her mother called from the kitchen, "And grabs the paper towels for me."
"I have to be at the door though, mom!"
Sadie's mother grabbed the paper towels and sighed. "You know Sadie, having Blaire over is a privilege."
"Yeah mom, I know!"
"Sadie!" she yelled one last time, in a desperate mood. After putting the paper towels up, a knock on the door was heard, and she could hear Sadie squeal in the background.
