"Yeah, we're really having twins." I tell him a bit nervous about how he's going to react this time.
"Then you're going to need all the help you can get." Aiden tells me with a small smile on his face.
"You're going to help?" I ask confused.
"I miss you too, sis." Aiden tells me as he engulfs me in a big hug. I can't stop the tears that are falling at his words and the fact he's here hugging me.
"You're here..." I whisper to him hugging him as tightly as I can.
"I'm here." He tells me reassuringly "I'm sorry for turning my back on you. I should never have done that. I acted like mom and dad by leaving you and I'm so sorry."
"It's okay." I tell him happy that I've got my brother back.
"No, it's not but I'm going to make it up to you." He tells me and I can hear the promise in his words. "I'll start by looking at those ultrasound pictures you got today."
I smile and take them out of my purse. I hand them over to him and he looks at them with a small smile on his face.
"You're having twins." He tells me.
"I'm having twins." I confirm and then a thought comes to mind. "If I'm having twins and we we're twins than that probably means you'll have twins as well." I giggle as I hear Lucas mutter something behind me.
"What was that, Lulu?" Tasha asks him with a grin on her face.
"I said I hope that isn't going to happen soon." Aiden looks at him raising an eyebrow. "Look it's soon for us to have kids but we're adults, we are eighteen and nineteen – soon I'll even be twenty – but Tasha's only sixteen."
"Don't worry I'm not planning on getting your sister pregnant." Aiden tells Lucas who looks relieved till Aiden adds "Yet." The others and I all laugh except for Lucas.
"C'mon, baby... He's just messing with you." I tell Lucas as I make my way back to him. "So, what do you think boy / girl or both?" I ask Aiden, Tasha and Gwen. Gwen thinks two girls, Aiden thinks both and Tasha thinks two boys.
Aiden passes the pictures to the others who all take a look at my babies. In two weeks Lucas turns twenty and I don't have a birthday gift yet but since he refuses to let me go alone even though it's still six months he worries to much just like his father.
"Aiden do you want to go to the mall with me to catch up? Just the two of us?" I ask him first looking at him and then at Lucas before he can protest. Lucas gives me a slight nod indicating that he understands we need some time alone.
"Yeah, sure." Aiden tells me with a smile. "When do you want to go?"
"Now?" I tell him a bit embarrassed as I tell him "My clothes are starting to get too small."
"Alright, give me one minute and off we'll go." Aiden tells me with a smile. I go to the bathroom real fast and then we're off.
3 hours later
"Thank you." I tell Aiden who insisted on carrying my bags as we take a seat in the food corner. "I missed you during the last couple of months. I'm so glad you're here now." I tell him tears gathering in my eyes again. "Oh, god stupid hormones." I sniff with a small smile on my face."I missed you too. I was a fool to act like that. I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that you were pregnant and that you were happy about it. The only thing going through my mind was that you were starting your own family and you were leaving me behind."
"I would never leave you behind. You're my brother, my twin brother and I love you so much! I know I spent a lot of time with Lucas even before I got pregnant but I would never forget you." I tell him meaning it with my whole heart.
