Percy P.O.V
When we got to the potions classroom in the dungeons it was a little danky and dark but other than that it was okay. Then I saw something that made the dungeon classroom worth it. SEVY, it was Severus Snape the former Sword Master at Camp before Quintus.
"Sevy!" Annabeth yelled as she ran and hugged him, we all gave him bear hugs except Nico. He just stood back akwardly. Everyone was looking at us strangley. Sevy seemed to remember where he was and pushed us off and went into teacher mode.
"That would be Proffesor Snape to you." He said "And hello Nico, now take a seat today we are making the most complicated but effective poison, it is a very complicated potion you must follow the instructions exactly or it won't work." Sevy said. I still couldn't believe that he was here after he dissapeared so long ago. We all thought that he was dead but we knew Chiron was keeping something from us, but he always has at least one secret, so that wasn't news.
Harry P.O.V
The exchange students were acting weird again, somehow they new Pro. Snape, and got him to smile, which was a rare occasion that I have never experienced. I eyed the exchange students but I don't think they noticed. Boy did I speak to soon Annabeth glared back at me with a death stare, if looks could kill the I would be toast. Anyways the instructions for poison Alcyoneus, which was a strange name for a potion. I looked over to the exchangestudents to see how they were doing but Percy was looking directly at Pro. Snape like he was about to explode from anger which I didn't get since it was just a potion.
"Why is this a potion name, it is infuriating. Do you know who Alcyoneus is?!" Percy yelled at Snape, I was just anticipating Snape to yell at him to get back to work or take points from Gryffindor and Detention, most likely all three but no it was the exact opposite turned to Percy and his expression soffend.
"I am sorry Percy, but I am not the one who names these. you must try to at least make it. Please I know Alcyoneus is the one born to oppose you father." Snape said which really supprised me that he would ever be nice to someone in Gryffindor even though they seemed to now each other, and what was Snape talking about born to oppose your father. Who was his father, and I could have sworn I heard Percy mutter
"Lets just hope you stay dead." I decided to ask later now to the potion. It was complicated like Snape said but I was pretty sure I could handle it without it blowing up. I looked over to see how the exchange students were doing. Probably never even handeled a potion before. To my suprise Percy was doing really good it was like the potion was listening and obeying him. Annabeth the same result even though she sending worried glances at Percy. The other two however were not doing so well. Thalia looked like she was trying to beat up the potion, and Nico was... well I don know what Nico was doing it looked like he was praying to the potion, these kids were weird. I am determend to find who they are and why the have such a strong aura of power surrounding them, especially Nico, Percy, and Thalia, Annabeths was a little weaker but not by much. Snape was going around checking everyones potions. Mine was okay it wasn't a blackish green it was more a red colour but it would have to do. When Snape got around to mine he just looked at it and chuckled,
"I am afraid that that won't be poisoning anything Potter." He said "It would work better as love potion than a poison." At that the Slytherins snickered. Then Snape moved on to the next person who happens to be Percy.
"I'm impressed at the same time not surprised." Snake said in a rather joking tone, which was not normal.
"You know me Sevy, liquids are my specialty." Percy said in a relaxed tone
"50 points to Gryffindor for making the perfect potion." Snaps said which surprised me since he has only ever given points to Slytherin. Then he moved to Annabeth. (Since I am lazy and it's like midnight here what happened in short)
Annabeth and Percy's potion was perfect
Thalia and Nico's blew up
Hermione was close to perfect
Ron's blew up
Harry's just sucked
