Yoongi's eyes never stopped searching.
Not while he was on the bus.
Not while checking into his hotel room as Mr. Kim Namjoon.
Not while walking down the street from the hotel to get cheap coffee.
His eyes never stopped searching for someone. He didn't know who, exactly, just someone out of the ordinary.
That's why Yoongi noticed Jimin so easily.
Now, just a day after their first encounter, he was sat at the same table in the corner of the shop, lazily sipping his coffee as he watched the small blonde wipe a table.
Jimin seemed very cute with the first glance, and Yoongi couldn't help but feel his heart flutter slightly has he watched the smaller boy walk behind the counter, talking to the girl standing there. His smile was the best part of it.
Aish, Yoongi, what the hell. Snap out of it.
Yoongi had to shake his head slightly, again being reminded of the events of the last few days. He felt a chill going through his body, and suddenly lost his craving for coffee.
He stood up, ready to leave the bakery, but as he reached for the door, a hand stopped him.
Yoongi spun around, full defence mode on, but was surprised to see a slightly blushing blond boy standing there.
Yoongi simply stared at the boy for a few seconds, before realising that the boy was doing the exact same thing, apparently not planning on saying anything.
"Can I... help you?" Yoongi asked with a slight frown. The boy's face went red.
How cute.
"Ah- I'm so sorry I just- I was thinking- uhm, I haven't seen you around here before so I was just wondering- ah, maybe- you're probably in a hurry, aren't you, I'm so-" the boy rambled, making Yoongi chuckle slightly.
"Hey, I'm not in a rush. Just say what you wanted to say", he said, subconsciously putting a hand on the other boy's upper arm. To his surprise, he could feel the smaller boy's muscle really well.
"Uh, well, since I haven't seen you around here before, I was just wondering if you were new in town", the blond boy said, clutching his waiter's tray in his small hands. His brown eyes were searching Yoongi's face, not daring to meet his gaze.
"Yeah, I am", Yoongi simply replied, nodding slightly. He couldn't risk revealing anything, so he kept it simple while coming up with a proper cover story in his head.
"Ah, really? That's so cool!" The smaller boy said with a wide grin, the redness in his face having withdrawn to a slight pink dusting of his cheeks.
"Thank you, I guess?" Yoongi said, moving his hand from the boy's arm up to scratch his own neck.
"Well, actually, have you been in Busan before? I can show you around sometime if you're not busy", the boy said, his grin turning into a shy smile.
"Sure, that would be great", Yoongi said without thinking.
Shit. Could he really go out with this cute kid while being on the run from the police? Shouldn't he stay as low as possible?
He didn't have time to think any longer, because the smaller boy was talking again, and his smile was simply too captivating.
"Great! My name is Jimin, by the way. Park Jimin", he said, sticking out a small hand, the waiter's tray resting under his other arm.
Yoongi took his hand, and a thought suddenly came to mind.
