One night murder

Chapter 6

Man found alone in his bed, heart ripped out of his body.

A man was found dead in his apartment, his heart missing from his body. The police aarrived to the scene after receiving an anonymous tip about strange noises comming from the apartment.

"We received a call around ten in the morning about some strange noises coming from [Kim Taehyung's] apartment, and that it sounded like the police should take a look. The caller told us about sounds of fighting, and said that he was too afraid to check it out himself. He didn't say anything else before hanging up, so we don't know anything about him or who he is. We were sceptical, but we had to check it out, and when we arrived, we found the scene as you see it now", police inspector Han Binseol tells our reporter.

The vicitme was  quickly identified as Kim Taehyung, he owner of the apartment, but dna tests are still being run just to make sure.

It may seem like the young man, only recently turned 23 years old, was killed by having his heart removed from his body, but the forensic team can tell us something else.

"He was most likely strangled, but we can't know if he fought back or not, as it seems like there was another person in bed with him earlier, and we found used condoms in his trash can. We don't know where this other person is right now, but we are running tests on the evidence we've found, and will hopefully be able to identify him within a few weeks. We don't know if this person was the killer, but the suspicions are high, as the person is no where to be seen at this time. They could have left before or after the murder, but there is no way for us to know at this point", forensic scientist Min Kyungsoo says.

"He died around two in the night, so we are very sceptical to the anonymous tip we got. It could be the missing person, or i could be the killer, but we don't know anything at this point. We will be asking neighbours, friends and family, and we will find out who murdered him. Our biggest question at this point, however, is why his heart has been removed", Han Binseol says.

"It was removed using a sharp to open the back of the victime, and it seems like it has been ripped out With oure force. A very bloody and disgusting case, indeed. I've never seen anything like it before", Min Kyungsoo says with a frown.

His family and close friends have been informed about Kim Taehyung's passing, and we will keep you updated throughout the investigation.

Yoongi stared at the screen With big eyes. At the bottom of the page, there was a picture of the smiling man, alive and well, taken by one of his friends. 

Yoongi knew exactly who had been laying in the bed next to the dead man, and he knew exactly who's dna they would find in his trash can, and he also knew exactly who the mysterious tipper had been.

He felt sick to his stomach, and most of all he wanted to disappear through the floor.

But that was nothing compared to what he would feel after clicking the "go back"-button, and clicking the next link on the search list. The previous article was five days old, posted the same day Yoongi ran away. This one was a few hours old.

The first thing that met him was a police sketch that looked suspiciously like himself, and a header screaming the words "First lead on the mysterious one night stand?".

It was that moment Yoongi knew that he was in deep shit.

It felt like a nightmare as he read on, reading how the police had talked to the reseptionist of Taehyung's building and managed to get a sketch of the man Taehyung arrived home with the night of the murder. She had not, however, seen him leave, and it was then they had the brilliant of looking at the security camera tape, seeing two blurry figures stumbling their way into the building at 00:12, and someone who looked alarmingly like Yoongi making their way back out at 09:43 that same morning.

"We asked around the area, and have managed to find out that the two men met at Dark Room night club, a mer kilometer from the building. The man has not been identified yet, but we have sent out his sketch and the images from the CCTV, and will most likely receive a tip in the next few hours. We can't know how this man is involved, but he obviously ran away from the crime scene, and we want to know why", police inspector Han Binseol tells us.

Yoongi was probably looking like a ghost at this point. His heart was pounding, and it felt like if he threw up that would come up as well. His hands were trembling, the cold sweat working it's way down his back.

He had to get away from the hotel as soon as possible. They were probably going to receive a tip from some of Yoongi's colleagues or friends, or even family, and they would question them, and if Seokjin and Namjoon weren't going to sabotage a murder investigation for him, they were going to find out that he left for Busan.

Yoongi thoguht for a second that the police maybe would look through his apartment and see the threatening Message on the back of his bedroom door and think that maybe, just maybe, they would think that he was a mere victime as well, but that was not a risk he was willing to take. 

The boy needed to find a safer place to stay, not to mention cheaper.

And as if God himself heard his prayers, his phone started ringing, an unknown number splayed across the screen.

With sweaty hands, Yoongi lifted the phone to his ear, and heard a beautiful, familiar voice.

"Yoongi? Hi, it's me, Jimin, from the coffee shop".

I have a New computer now, and although the keyboard is not as good as my old one, this one is much more fit for school, which I will be needing soon!

I haven't figured out how to work the spelling controll yet, so this is not edited the slightest...
