Knock. Knock. Knock.

The door opened to reveal a smiling boy staring in awe at Felix. There was clearly a spark in his eyes, but no spark was given back.

"You look stunning, my petal." Felix said smiling. It was true, Felix thought the boy looked incredible standing before him.

A red blush came to Jisung's face as he wrapped his arms around his beloved. Felix hesitated, but did return the hug. "You don't look so bad yourself, handsome." he giggled, winking as he let go of him.

Jisung loved the date. He thought that the dinner was great and that Felix made this perfect for him. They walked around the park after dinner, half of an ice cream cone they shared in Felix's hand.

The sun was going down and the stars were starting to shine. Felix and Jisung chose to lie on the grass to watch the stars.

"Petal, I have to tell you something, but no matter what I still love you so much. Please don't get mad." Felix said calmly, although his heart was beating quickly and his hands were shaking. Jisung hummed in agreement, his eyes closed.

"I'm breaking up with you."

Jisung froze. His heart broke into two as he immediately broke into tears, sitting up from his relaxed position. "Don't joke around with me, Felix." he cried in hope this was all a joke. "Why?"

Felix sighed, a tear rolling down his eyes. "I don't. I don't see a spark anymore." he half-lied, since he definitely saw Jisung's spark, he just never saw his.

"We both know that this is more than that." Jisung's voice raised in agony and heart-break.

"Fine. I just- I can't- It's Minho." He said with a stutter, his hand reaching to hold Jisung.

"You like Minho?" Jisung cried, moving away from him. "Minho likes you? Felix, just explain!"

"N-no. Minho likes.. Likes you. He's suffering and I can tell how much our relationship is hurting him." Felix closed his eyes. He did love Jisung, but he wanted Minho to be happy and thought that Jisung deserved better.

Jisung only stared at Felix. He had no words. "Could I at least, at least kiss you for the last time?" he said, his heart breaking more and more by the time he reached the end of the sentence.

Felix didn't nod, or shake his head. He just leaned in.

It was a passionate kiss, filled with love and no regret. Jisung understood how much it would hurt Minho and although he never thought it could end like this, he accepted the fact that him and Felix weren't together anymore. The kiss lasted long and Jisung savoured every last moment, before they broke off from each other.

"To one year and three months." Jisung said, forcing a smile.

"To one year and three months." replied Felix, plastering an uneasy smile on his face.

"Hey, so i sort of broke up with J and I'm feeling not so great, so can I stay here ton- Changbinnie?"

this has probably been the most challenging chapter i've wrote so far.

my writing isn't the greatest, so i wanted to get the wording perfect so everything made sense, so i hope i didn't mess up haha

as well as that, a 'perfect' break up scene was extremely difficult to write. I wanted it to be a scene where they break up without so much anger and screams and i didn't want jisung to become a crazy jealous ex. i wanted jisung to understand felix and minho's point of view and so that's exactly why he accepted that him and felix were over. don't attack jisung or felix and don't attack minho for liking jisung or i will attack you ):<<
