Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3- HATE OR LOVE?

It was a silent ride in the car on the way to the local hospital. Well mostly, except for the bits where I was screaming because Niall would poke it and sharp pain would shoot up my arm. "We are here." Dad said in mono tone. Finally we are here, I thought to my self. Niall and I got out of the car and and walked into the front office, "Hi, how may I help you?" asked the secretary I assumed. "Uhm...Hey...she kinda broke her arm..." replied Niall. "Not kinda, I have." I corrected, glaring at him. "Well I better check and see if there was a doctor in, just to check and make sure everything is ok." she said with a smile, whilst quickly typing away at her computer. after a few minuets she looked up, "I'm sorry, there isn't anyone in at the moment." When I'm tired, hungry and have pain shooting up my arm, I have very little self control. "What?!" i exclaimed and gave the lady a are you serious kind of look. "I'm sorry, but you will have to go to the Ballarat Base hospital, there isn't anyone available here." she said with a concerning look. "You can't be serious...my arm is- OWW NIALL!" I turned around and punched him for poking my arm."Thank you, Mam, is there something you can give her that will stop the pain just until we get there?" Niall asked ,looking at her adoringly, "I can give her a pain killer but that's all-"she replied smiling at him, "I will be right back with some Neurophen." she walked away and I sat down. 10 minuets later she came back with a plastic cup full of water and a Neurophen capsule. I took them quickly and thanked her. Niall and I walked out and went to the car.

I opened the car to see not one but two people asleep. "Dad, Dad, we're back." it had been half an hour. "oh..oh..wait why don't you have a cast?" he questioned rubbing his eyes. "There arn't any doctors in. We have to go to the Base hospital." I replied. "Oh..OK well hets hoo then." he said with a yawn. "uhm...no offence or anything Mr.Cartell but i think you should go home, you look tuckered out." Niall said with concern. "Nah iwdfm fincvfewne,I mean I'm fine." dad commented with another yawn. "No, I'm not letting you drive either i call one of the boys to come and pick you and Tori up and I take Jamie to the hospital, or I drive and you come to. whats your choice?" i looked at him in surprise, no one had ever told my dad what was gonna happen and if they didn't like it tough."Oh..alright me and Tori will go home and you can take Jamie." Niall took out his phone and tapped away,making a quick phone call to who I think was Liam.

5 minuets later Mum and Liam arrived in the 4-wheel drive. Tori and Dad got in. Mum gave directions to Niall on where to go and off we went on to the highway. We were in the old style car, the seats went right across. They didn't have a gap in the middle like the new style cars. It was very quite. all you could hear was the deep rumble of the car until, "Peace offering." he said.and handed me a piece of chocolate.

NIALL'S P.O.V

Half and hour later we got to the hospital. By then Jamie was screaming "GIVE ME DRUGS! STOP THE PAIN!" every 5 minutes. There weren't many people here, 3 maybe 4. "Jamie go sit over there. and ill sign you in." I said pointing to a seat. I walked over to the front desk and the lady asked Me few questions about her injury and he personal information. After the lady had finished i went and sat with Jamie. A doctor came through the doors and called her name. We both stood up and walked over. "Oh I'm sorry young man are you family?"the doctor asked. "No, just friend." i said with a smile. "Ah well then I'm sorry, but you will have to wait in the waiting room." "That's fine,see you soon Jamie." I said. Jamie nodded and walked away. 

An hour later she walked through the doors with a bright fluro pink cast on her left arm. "Nice color." I smirked. She wasn't walking right. He was all over the place."haha thanks. they gave me allot of morphine and happy gas." she said with a hiccup."Haha l can tell." I told her as we walked out to the car.

JAMIES P.O.V'

We were in the car again, we just had McDonalds and i needed to pee. "Niall next Maccas we see we are stopping at." I said. "Why?" he asked, " I need to pee." I replied. "Nice to know..." he looked at me and screwed up his face. "hey, you asked." i said letting outta small giggle. "I'm sorry." he said. "What?" he scared me, that was the second time he had done it to me. "Well this-" he said pointing to my arm "is kinda my fault and I can tell that you still hate me." he was looking at me and not the road now."NIALL WATCH THE DAMN ROAD!, this was no your fault, and I don't hate you." I replied. "Yes you do." he replied. "No I don't." "Yes. You. Do." he said. "No. I. Don't." "mhmm,you totally do." I lost it. "Yeah OK I hate you why is it such a big deal?" i screamed, and put my head on the window. "It is a big deal, because i don't know why you hate me when i did nothing to you?" he was getting serious. "Oh, don't feel like your the only one i hate all famous rich people." I was pissed. "why?" his voice was low and faint. "Because you could do so much with your money like helping kids in Africa,  and I know you do some, but I feel that you could do more.That's all." i replied. "oh..." it went quiet between us for a little while, then I saw a playground. It was bound to have toilets. Niall must have seen it to because he pulled in. I got out of the car and ran to the toilets. after a few moments i came back and we were off again.

I was trying to sleep but nothing was comfortable. "If you want you can use me...as a pillow I mean." he said "I am going to take you up on that offer." I soon said, I snuggled into him. he smelt like vanilla and Cinnamon. Either I was dreaming or it was real.but i swear he kissed the top of my head and said goodnight. I couldn't tell because I had drifted off.

We got home and I walked in to see everyone except the little girls watching Bad Boys 2."Hey your Back!" they yelled. "Yeah!" i said holding up my cast, Ever one including me burst into laughter. "Yeah i know not the best colour." i told them.  they all nodded in agreement "Well I'm going to bed." dad said. "Me to." mum said with a smile. "Yeah, I'm gonna head to sleep." Paul said. "Everything is set up in your room,mattresses I mean." Liam said proud. "Ok, well i'm gonna go watch the Imbetweeners movie.I havn't seen it yet." i exclaimed. "Oh we love that movie we are coming to." they said in union.

We were all sitting on the bed looking at the TV as it played the opening credits. Niall was about to fall asleep, Zayn was moving to sit in front of the TV and I was getting my P'Js on. "Allright, well there are 3 mattresses but one of the is a double so two of you are going to have to sleep together. and one of you is going to have to sleep with me." I said Trailing off at the end of the sentence. Liam, Zayn, Harry and Louis, quickly jumped on the mattresses and Niall quickly got up but sat back down realizing he was the loser and would have to sleep with me. "Oh..." he said. "Harry i want the left side ok?" Louis asked, "Yeah What ever Louis." Harry Replied.  Niall layed down and fell asleep, whilst me and the boys watched the movie. Suddenly Niall fell out of bed and on to Liam. "Ouch Niall get off." Liam yelled. i sat there laughing. " I don't  know about you guys  but i'm over this movie, imma go to sleep.night." I rolled over and i heard a few 'yeah and yeah me to's" come from the boys. they turned off the TV and went to sleep.
