Damon (pt. 2)

You get back together

"Y/N, wait!"

I closed the door before Damon could come in and locked it.

"No, Damon! I'm not giving up this easily!"

"Me either, Y/N. I won't give up on you. On us."

"Well, I already have!"

"I heard that."

"Heard what?"

"The unevenness in your heartbeat. You're lying."

I flung open the door, "So fucking what if I'm lying? I can lie, lie and lie until the day that I die but I will never get back together with you."

"You don't mean that." Damon said, obviously trying to be stronger than he was.

All I had to do was a little more harsh of words and he would be gone. For good. And that was for the best...right?

"I hate you, Damon Salvatore. You mean nothing to me."

"Liar."

"The unevenness is not me lying, Damon! It's nervousness! I-"

He sped into my face, inching away from my lips and his breath washed over them, making me lick them quickly.

"Why. Are. You. Lying?"

"Oh, fuck off." I tried to push him back out of the door but he grabbed my wrists and tugged them above my head, smashing me into the wall.

The irritation in the back of my head not even bothering me because of his piercing blue eyes boring into mine.

"I love you, Y/N." He said, fiercely.

I tried to look away, even just for a second but he grasped my chin in his hand and looked deep into my eyes before kissing me, passionately.

I immediately responded and sighed when he pulled away, "I love you."

"I love you." I whispered and rested my forehead against his.

"This is where we're supposed to be. Together."

"I know." I said, looking up and pecking his lips, "I know." I said again, quieter. More for conformation in my mind and heart.

He smiled softly and lifted me by the waist, twirling me across the room, a low chuckle came from him and a long giggle escaped from me.

"Damon!"

"God, I love how my name sounds coming from you." He groaned.

I laughed and squealed as he sped us to the bedroom, "And I want to hear it all night."
