I Love you.
The terrifying part is I know I will always love you. Even when you get tired of me, even if you hurt me, even when you leave me. I will still love you.
I try so hard to hold it together. Hide my brokenness from you. I don't want you to think I'm weak. I want to give you my best always. Not to mention I'm afraid of what you'll think when you truly understand the strength is an act held in place by a layer of numbness.
You're such a huge light in my life. I try not to snuff you out, try not to cling, to pretend I don't just want to curl up in your lap and stay there.
Your so far out of my league it's funny. But I get to have you. I get to love you. And for that I thank you my dear.
I love you so much it hurts sometimes. There's this Greek tale that all people had four arms, four legs and two heads and that some god or Titan or something split us all in half and so we spend our lives trying to find out other half.
I'm not sure that's true but it would make sense as to why I'm so drawn to you. I know we're very different from each other, but I think we have enough in common for this to work.
So please as long as you love me, and want me. Let me keep you. I won't ask you for forever, I'll just ask you for now. Tonight, this week. Let me keep loving you, let me keep kissing you and holding you and laughing with you.
